The 7 February 2007, I took advantage of a sleepless evening to create “What if it were true…”, a wedding blog to share my advice as a young bride. It was the very first of its kind. A few relics still wander around the web, a blog with an absolutely terrifying black background. However, it is thanks to him that I took flight. Married for 2 years and young mother of a little 6-month-old burnet, I secretly dreamed of becoming a wedding planner.
Having been fueled by romantic comedies since childhood, by creating this blog, I was moving a little closer to my dreams of the wonderful. I always knew deep down that this magic that inhabited me would find an echo in this world. I was far from imagining that the universe had such a crazy plan. From one encounter to another, I realized my dream and much more.
Organize your weddings, with Made in You, was a crazy and intense experience. After a hundred weddings and thousands of kilometers, I nevertheless chose to stop this activity. As a young mother again, I felt this intense need to focus on this new motherhood. The blog has been a faithful companion throughout all these years. At first a hobby, it has now punctuated my daily life for 7 years. Far from being my only professional activity, it has always been the common thread of my activities. Made in You via love etc and KIDS etc, Sunday Grenadine et Manager of Myself, all these wonderful projects were born here.
Your beautiful stories, our meetings have nourished and motivated each of these projects. As in every professional life, I have encountered some desert crossings, I have been disappointed, hurt and lost. But I am only stronger and less naive. The nice people are rarely the personalities that we respect in this world. However, today I feel legitimate and in my place. In a blog that I have shaped in the smallest details and which continues to evolve. Always with lightness, kindness and sincerity. And with the crazy hope of living by your side an even bigger dream that I have been keeping secret for a few years. Maybe 2022!
From these 15 years of telling your beautiful stories, of sharing my advice et wedding addresses, I will only remember your kindness and your sweet words left here ou leaves. So thank you for being there to make my wildest dreams come true. To be continued…
