Château la Beaumetane:
The perfect venue for a Destination Wedding in Provence

Château La Beaumetane: the art of French hospitality in the heart of Provence

At the heart of a Provence Bathed in light, where vineyards meet olive groves and the song of cicadas accompanies the most beautiful promises, some places seem to have been created to celebrate the greatest love stories. Le La Beaumetane Castle is one of those confidential addresses that appeal to an international clientele in search of an exceptional wedding.

Nestled between Aix-en-Provence and Marseille, in the heart of authentic Provence, this 19th-century château captivates as much by its unique architecture – its majestic red brick façade and iconic glass roof – as by the experience it offers. Here, luxury is expressed with refinement. It resides in the privilege of having an entire estate to one's own, in the tranquility of a weekend surrounded by loved ones, in the feeling of being welcomed as if into a family home.

Member of Madame Social ClubOver the years, Château La Beaumetane has become a benchmark for French and international couples seeking a Destination Wedding Combining elegance, authenticity and the French art of living. Easily accessible from Marseille Provence airport and the Aix-en-Provence TGV station, it offers that rare luxury: the opportunity to gather loved ones for several days in a completely private setting where every moment becomes a memory.

Only about twenty weddings are celebrated there each year. This deliberate choice allows Nathalie and her team to offer a deeply personal and attentive experience, where every detail is carefully considered. The 21 bedrooms, the light-filled lounges, the grounds, the conservatory, the long tables under the Provençal sky, the following day's brunch… everything invites you to extend the celebration and experience much more than just a wedding day: a truly enchanting interlude.

We met the owners of the La Beaumetane Castle To understand what makes this home a special place, they tell us the story of this family home, their passion for the art of hospitality, and their vision of a wedding where elegance is experienced above all in shared emotions.

Interview with Nathalie Collomb

Can you tell us the story of Château La Beaumetane?

Château La Beaumetane This elegant Provençal residence, built at the end of the 19th century, is instantly recognizable thanks to its majestic red brick façade and magnificent, light-filled glass roof. When we first saw it, we immediately felt its soul. Behind its history-laden walls lay extraordinary potential: the potential to breathe new life into this exceptional place and welcome new chapters of existence. We restored it with passion, respecting its heritage, so that it would retain all its authenticity while offering the comfort and elegance expected today.

How would you describe the soul?
of Château La Beaumetane?

La Beaumetane is first and foremost a home of the heart. Here, refinement is expressed with simplicity, in a warm atmosphere where everyone immediately feels at home. Surrounded by the luminous landscapes of Provence, the château invites you to slow down, share, celebrate, and savor every moment. It is a place where emotions naturally take center stage.

“People will forget what you said, but they will never forget how you made them feel.”
Maya Angelou

What made you want to bring this place to life?

We fell in love with its unique character, its architecture, and that almost indescribable feeling that some places evoke from the very first moment. Château La Beaumetane already had a history; we simply wanted to give it a new life by allowing other families to create the most beautiful memories of their lives there.

Why is Provence such a special destination?
To celebrate a wedding?

Provence possesses a light, a gentleness, and a way of life rarely found elsewhere. It instantly evokes holidays, large family meals, cicadas, olive trees, and golden sunsets. The château enjoys a privileged location, just minutes from Marseille Provence Airport and the Aix-en-Provence TGV train station, making it easy to welcome guests from all over the world. And for us, Provence is much more than a destination: it's a family story, a land deeply rooted in our hearts.

What work have you undertaken to reveal the full beauty of the estate?

Each restoration was conceived as a tribute to the site. We preserved its identity while providing the comfort of a contemporary residence. The reception areas were enhanced, the accommodations transformed into four-star rooms, the grounds delicately illuminated, and the amenities modernized to offer an experience that is both elegant and comfortable.

Why did you choose to dedicate yourself to weddings?

Because there are few moments as precious as a wedding. We are fortunate to see families reunite, generations meet, and love stories celebrate in a place that seems destined to host these suspended moments. Every weekend is different, but the emotion remains the same.

What makes Château La Beaumetane so unique?

Perhaps it's the feeling of having a castle all to yourself. Its spectacular glass roof, its grounds, its elegant reception rooms, its on-site accommodations, and the complete privatization of the estate allow for a truly unforgettable wedding weekend in Provence. Guests don't simply come to attend a reception: they live an experience, share precious moments, and leave with memories that will last a lifetime.

You deliberately host a limited number of weddings each year. Why?

We choose to organize only about twenty weddings a year in order to preserve what matters most to us: the time, availability, and quality of our support. Each couple deserves special attention, genuine listening, and a reassuring presence throughout this adventure.

How do you support future brides and grooms?

Our role goes far beyond simply providing a venue. We support our couples from their first visit until the day after the festivities. We share our best recommendations, suggest trusted vendors, and remain present at every stage so that everyone can fully enjoy their wedding with complete peace of mind.

Could you describe Château La Beaumetane in a few words?

Château La Beaumetane is located in Lançon-Provence, between Aix-en-Provence and Marseille, in the heart of authentic and easily accessible Provence. The estate can accommodate up to 120 guests for a seated dinner and offers 45 beds in 21 elegantly furnished rooms, including a bridal suite. For a weekend, couples can enjoy exclusive use of the château: the salons, the conservatory, the grounds, the ceremony spaces, and the entire estate become the exclusive setting for their wedding story.
