Santorini, the bewitching. The ideal setting to freeze eternal love. Blue as far as the eye can see and the sparkle of the white houses that plunge into the Mediterranean. A jewel island that I have already told you about in a long post. There reigns such a special atmosphere there…
Perrine Eychenne, wedding planner at Mrs. Poppy, went there for a location scouting as part of her work. A dream opportunity to do a sweet photoshoot with her lover of 5 years.

Your meeting
“We met almost 5 years ago, a 2.0 meeting!
After long ("too long" for Perrine's taste) days and evenings chatting on a dating site, we met for a drink.
On several occasions, I had suggested to Manu that we meet in town, because we were often there at the same time, but despite all my outstretched perches, nothing worked!! And since my patience has very short limits… I ended up telling him that we were going to stop our exchanges there… Without further ado, he suggested a meeting for our first “Date”!!!!! (I promise it works, girls!!!)
That same evening I had a party at home with a friend. Between two text messages exchanged, I suggested that he join us and therefore bring our meeting forward! He said yes! Oh boy I didn't expect it, I won't tell you how stressed I was (I like things to be organized... I fell into my own trap!)
Perrine was leaving for Marseille the next day, Manu was getting up at 4am! A long evening of chatting and getting to know each other before seeing each other again a week later. From that moment on, Manu never left my apartment! We moved into a small house a few months later with our two cats!!!

What you like best about him?
“His calm. Although sometimes very stressful, it allows me to settle down, to limit my madness. It makes me realize that there are only 24 hours in a day and that you have to know how to appreciate every moment!”
He follows me in my wildest ideas while remaining reserved in case I fall from my little cloud a little too abruptly, he likes simple things and real moments and that is worth all the gold in the world!
What you like best about her?
"His madness." come on let's do it " which makes me realize that by getting involved we can achieve our goals.
The morning choreographies, even if my eyes are not yet working and I do not catch all the movements (she is full of energy as soon as she wakes up… me much less!!!)
The passion we have for each other for the two living room felines who allow us to live on their territory.
But also the way she makes me understand that she would stay quite quietly at home. don't you want to go cycling? "And which do us both good!
And above all his patience is worthy of a dynamite stick fuse!!!"

Life as a couple: UP and DOWN
“Our festive moments! We love to party!! Any excuse is good to meet up with friends for an evening at home or elsewhere!”
But also our travels, we live beautiful adventures through many countries! And of course, our common love for DIY and crafts…!
Our characters!! We are both so stubborn it's crazy! We each have our obsessions and we have to find the middle ground! It's not easy every day but we manage to tame each other little by little, it takes time for everything and be patient (patience...)!
A romantic tête-à-tête in Santorini…
"I've been wanting to do a photoshoot with Manu for a long time, and to be in Santorini at the same time as Floriane: We realized it! It was there, period!
A moment out of time. We arrived early in Oia, it was so magical and soothing, far from the euphoria we had experienced two days before during the sunset… We finished the session in the evening for a sunset on the roof of a chapel!
We have such a wonderful memory of it (and a good one too, because we really enjoyed the 10am breakfast in Oia!!!)!
We went to Santorini for a location scout (I'm organizing a wedding there next May) and we had celebrated our 30th anniversary a few days before, we had a bit of a birthdaymoon!!!! It was magical!

"It was obvious. Floriane is part of our life. She has been my best friend for a few years now! Not very comfortable in front of the lens, we could only go in front of hers to be comfortable!
When we found out that we were going to Santorini at the same time (without meaning to, we bought our tickets for the same dates... well... without really meaning to...) we immediately decided that this was the island where we were going to immortalize some beautiful moments!
Your projects
"No wedding in sight, but since we are quite unpredictable and we don't know what tomorrow will bring, we're not going to get ahead of ourselves!! We love traveling, discovering new capitals, new countries, but we have mixed feelings about why we shouldn't buy a house?
Freshly back from a road trip on the Spanish Basque coast and a few days in Oslo, we don't know what our next destination will be, maybe Africa or Canada... or Zanzibar... Maybe Charleston... We are lucky to have a pied-a-terre there!
I think our travels have made us grow together, and we want to grow even more!!!”

"We love discovering new places, but our favorite restaurant is a bistro in Toulouse, the Bistrot de l'étoile! We often celebrate our birthdays there, or simply to have a simple restaurant, as a couple!
Favorite country: Reunion. Without hesitation! We will definitely go back. It was a revelation, we discovered and learned so many things! The people are lovely, the landscapes breathtaking...
An artist: IAM! We have very different musical tastes, but this group remains the one we love until the end of the night!
François Delarozière, this artist! He has made Perrine dream for years and Manu has been contaminated! His world, his universe, these machines are so grandiose!
