Destination wedding in French Riviera at Castel Bay
French Riviera — A contemporary wedding inspiration by the sea
Facing the bright light of the French Riviera, this wedding inspiration sketches a resolutely contemporary vision of the celebration. Conceived as a true editorial, this shoot explores a new way of telling the story of marriage: more instinctive, more emotional, where movement and spontaneity find their place at the heart of the aesthetic.
Conceived during a workshop orchestrated by Jérémie HKB et Marion Pinel, and coordinated by Fairytale AgencyThis editorial brings together a team of talented individuals around a shared ambition: to offer a contemporary vision of marriage, at the crossroads of editorial photography and sensitive storytelling.
The setting is clearly striking. Castle BaySuspended between the sea and Mediterranean light, this spectacular space with its clean lines becomes the stage for a minimalist and luminous scenography. Ivory tones, fluid fabrics, delicate floral arrangements, and couture silhouettes combine to create an aesthetic that is both refined and profoundly elegant.
Captured by the lens of Andy SoucheThese images celebrate a free-spirited and contemporary bride, in an atmosphere where luxury is subtle, natural, and deeply emotional. An inspiration designed for today's couples, sensitive to authenticity, experiences, and the beauty of genuine moments.
What is the genesis of this wedding inspiration?
This editorial is part of a wedding workshop organised by Jérémie HKB and Marion Pinel, bringing together several professionals around a common ambition: to offer a current vision and an editorial rendering of the wedding.
On a personal level, this experience allowed me to begin exploring and integrating a more instinctive visual style of writing, in dialogue with a structured editorial approach. This approach draws on codes designed for Generation Z, who are sensitive to emotion, movement, and authenticity.
Some images thus embrace a degree of deliberate imperfection, allowing for the feeling of a lived moment, while maintaining a polished and consistent editorial aesthetic.
The intention of this editorial was to outline a way of telling wedding stories that is more in line with current expectations, where emotion, rhythm and feeling take center stage in the storytelling of images.
The editorial location is on the French Riviera.
Le Castle Bay It stands out for its privileged location facing the sea, opening the narrative onto a panoramic and immersive view of the French Riviera.
Its understated and elegant architecture, designed to respect the natural topography of the site, combined with natural and enveloping Mediterranean light, makes it a particularly suitable setting for editorial visual writing.
The spectacular nature of the venue coexists with an intimate and confidential atmosphere, naturally evoking the spirit of a destination wedding.

The artistic direction
The art direction of this editorial revolves around a contemporary elegance, carried by fluid materials, light textures and a minimalist aesthetic.
The deliberately light and monochrome palette, composed of ivory, cream and off-white tones, is inspired by shades close to Pantone references in order to give full rein to the light.
Floral work is moving towards white compositions, conceived with an editorial logic in mind, both for the ceremony and for the decorative elements.
The serpentine tablesCombined with the furniture, these elements bring movement and a more modern feel to the space. Stationery, candles, and gourmet touches punctuate the overall look with restraint.
La wedding dress It fits into this search for modernity and simplicity, with assertive lines and controlled volumes.
Le groom's suit, sober and contemporary, completes the whole in a coherent visual balance.
Professional advice for future brides and grooms
Thinking about your marriage within a framework of overall coherence is essential.
A consistent approach between the venue, the decoration and the atmosphere helps to create a smooth and harmonious experience, both for the bride and groom and for their guests.
Choosing the venue is a key step in the organization.
It must be a true favorite, both visually and emotionally, because it sets the stage for your story and welcomes your loved ones during this unique moment.
Maintaining one's composure during the organization process is paramount.
When hiring a wedding planner for the entire project is not possible, delegating the coordination of the wedding day or the last few days allows you to release the pressure and fully enjoy the day.
Coordination on the wedding day helps ensure that the event runs smoothly.
She takes care of the schedules, setup and arrival of the various partners, thus contributing to a calmer atmosphere, perceptible in the general ambiance as well as in the images.
Finally, the choice of photographer deserves special attention.
Beyond style and presentation, the feeling and connection from the very first exchanges are crucial, because this relationship of trust directly influences how your story will be told.
