You have booked the place, the trainer and your photographer, it's time to choose your DJ. Crucial choice in your organization because the wedding evening will be the final touch of your day. Questions to ask yourself before contacting your selection of professionals
Before contacting the various selected professionals, ask yourself the right questions together :
- What do you expect from your DJ? ? Rather a cool DJ, discreet DJ or eccentric DJ?
- Speaking on what type of service Would you like to be accompanied? A complete service that will accompany you throughout your event (ceremony, cocktail, dinner and evening), or simply an evening package?

- What is his journey et his musical universe ?
- How many years has he been hosting wedding receptions?
- What is his way of working? If you contact a collective, make sure that the DJ contacted will be the one who will provide the service. Does he talk into the microphone? Will he adapt to your musical tastes?
- What does his service include?
- What are they?t the different options : Lighting – Garlands, LED spotlights and outdoor lighting, vinyl bar, projection equipment – Retro and video projector. Does he manage surprise entertainment for guests?
- Does he impose a time limit ?
- How does he handle guest requests?
- If moving, ask for a estimate of travel and accommodation costs.
Final advice : Ask to listen examples of playlists. Most of them create them on mixcloud. If he doesn't have one, make sure his musical universe fits yours.

Ah well here is a great article!! The number of times when the bride and groom are in distress to find their DJ. Good tips to guide them, me who is not always the best placed to help them on this point.
