Engaged from the other side of the world, Caroline and Marlène take us to Reunion Island for a perfect "endless summer". The beautiful story begins in France, in the Var. Mutual love at first sight, they will never leave each other again. Today, they live a perfect idyll on their island.

The meeting of Caroline and Marlène

"We met at the opening party of a restaurant in Toulon (83 Var) and it was love at first sight. It was in 2017, on June 23.

I remember the first thing she said when she saw me was: WOW! At that moment I didn't know if it was because I was taller than her or if it was because she thought I was pretty... I finally got my answer. Since that famous evening we have never let go of each other!”

Life as a couple

"Life together happened right away, I had an apartment but we lived with Caroline from the first evening. We both wanted to leave, we opted for Reunion Island only 3 months after we met.

On January 30, 2018 we left Paris and arrived on the island the next day. We shared a flat for the first 3 months and then we found our current house in the heart of a ravine. To brighten up our lives we needed company, so we got a little hen.

Life together is never easy and despite the difficulties we always find a solution to be happy, together until now we have always succeeded.

How did the idea for this photoshoot come about?

"A friend told us about Charlotte and Renaud, two lovers of photography and love at the same time... They were looking for models to feed their portfolio. We arranged to meet up a few days later and it was really great."

"We didn't know them and so didn't know what to expect, but the idea of ​​having memories of us just made us happy."

Their projects 

"We got engaged on January 22, 2019 at the Palm! Charlotte and Renaud, with whom we became friends, were our photographers & also our guests in order to continue to follow us before, during and of course after the wedding!

Family life? We are discussing it…. We just got two adorable kittens and for the rest we are enjoying our lives and traveling.
