Fiesta del Amore at Maison Belzunce
Fiesta Del Amore: a flamboyant and couture vision of weddings at Maison Belzunce
At the heart of Pays Basque, the Belzunce House reveals itself as the perfect setting for an editorial that is as bold as it is captivating. Conceived by Margot Ribaud, founder of Salty Kisses and the concept MADEFiesta Del Amore shakes up the codes of traditional weddings to offer a sensory, immersive and decidedly couture experience.
Driven by an intense red, between Italian inspirations and Spanish energy, this universe celebrates love in all its power: passionate, vibrant, embodied. Plays of textures, theatrical scenography, masterful details… each element composes a strong aesthetic, where elegance meets audacity without ever compromising it.
More than just a photoshoot, this editorial is a true creative statement: an invitation to dare, to assert one's vision, and to imagine a wedding as a living, emotional and unforgettable work of art.
The location of this wedding inspiration in the Basque Country
The aim of this edition was to create strong and distinctive content for wedding vendors. Therefore, I needed a venue that was visually striking, intimate, and meaningful.
I had the pleasure of collaborating with Pauline, the owner of Maison Belzunce, whom I've known for several years. She only opens the venue on very rare occasions outside of weddings, and even less frequently for photo shoots, as the house simply doesn't require them. The fact that she trusted me is a privilege, directly linked to the reputation I've built in this field and my approach to my work.
The Belzunce house is one of the jewels of the Basque Country. A house full of character, with timeless elegance, both iconic and profoundly authentic.
It's a house imbued with a soul. A historic place, tastefully renovated, yet readily adaptable. What makes it ideal for me is this combination of a strong identity and great adaptability. Each room tells a story. Every corner offers a new perspective. It ticked all the boxes I was looking for: aesthetics, light, architectural structure, and above all, emotion.
The shooting team
The peculiarity of MADEThe key point is that this isn't a photoshoot organized around a pre-defined team, but rather an immersive content creation concept dedicated to wedding vendors. Professionals participate voluntarily, funding their own involvement to create powerful, editorial, and consistent images. It's a true strategic investment in their visibility.
For each edition, only ten places are available, ensuring an intimate, high-quality, and inspiring experience. This format creates a valuable balance between established providers and those just starting out, but all sharing the same ambition to create distinctive content.
In addition, I personally select certain talents to complete the team if needed, always based on the quality of their work, our artistic rapport or a real passion for their world.

The artistic direction
For this edition, I wanted to be daring. To think outside the box and offer an immersive experience.
Strong, sensual, and unforgettable scenography.
The theme? Fiesta del Amore.
A vibrant red monochrome, inspired by Baroque Italy, the Dolce & Gabbana universe, and everything else.
What red embodies: passion, power, total love, mixed with a fiesta de fuego.
The Spanish woman.
I worked with textures – velvet, satin, antique materials – to create depth and play on contrasts: the softness of a fabric against the strength of a chandelier, the lightness of a
strawberry against the glare of a mirror.
This edition also had a bigger intention: to inspire service providers to take risks, to assert their style, to create differently.
And above all, to show future brides and grooms that boldness is not synonymous with “too much”.
That one can think outside the box without ever losing elegance.
That a wedding can be vibrant, embodied, spectacular – without being ostentatious.
Here, everything has been designed to make you feel something.
Because that's what MADE is.
A creative, immersive and high-end vision of weddings.
Professional advice for future brides and grooms
Dare to think outside the box.
Your wedding doesn't need to look like someone else's to be beautiful. It should be yours.
To resemble. To resonate with your story, your colours, your emotions.
Too often, couples censor themselves, fearing the judgment of others or the prospect of being "too much." Yet, it's not boldness that spoils elegance, but a lack of intention. A carefully considered, even flamboyant, wedding design remains profoundly refined.
Choose passionate service providers
These are artists who don't simply reproduce trends, but who know how to listen, interpret, and elevate. Their role isn't to tick boxes, but to transform your vision into a sensory experience.
Trust them. Give them creative freedom. It's within this creative space that the most beautiful emotions are born. And above all, don't underestimate any role. Every talent counts. You can't just improvise the architecture of a memory.
Set your priorities with foresight.
You can't do everything, but you can choose everything with discernment. Every decision leaves its mark. Don't try to control everything: delegate to qualified service providers, chosen for their vision, precision, and ability to transform your desires into an experience.
An exceptional wedding doesn't try to please everyone.
It evokes emotion, it conveys a vision. It transcends aesthetics to touch the intimate. Forget the perfect Pinterest image: aim for the intoxication of the senses, the sincerity of moments, the depth of what you embody.
An unforgettable wedding is not something to be looked at.
He saw himself. He experienced himself. He left a mark.
