How did the initiative for this shooting come about?
“A desire for warmth, sunshine, and an excitement from this team of service providers to want to recreate an inspiring universe at the start of spring, to breathe new trends into our summer brides and grooms.
So this is the story of a intimate wedding, in the courtyard of an aesthetic and visual hotel, which lends itself perfectly to welcoming a few relatives and family, for a sunny wedding and real moments shared throughout a weekend. The definition of the Dolce Vita, literally "sweet idleness" was also translated by the association of our couple, Sophia by her embodied sweetness and Manuel by his charming smile, who together give off a real emotion and give you pep when you look at the images.

The Memorial
"For this editorial we have focused on the French Dolce Vita, in a private mansion, the South, near Antibes on the French Riviera, very arty design and Mediterranean. We wanted to honor this atmosphere which inspired us a lot."

Styling
"For the bride's outfits and beauty, it's the brilliant duo of Amélie and Virginie from Maelie House et Virginie Debourg, which we find. Sophia is dressed in a long dress for the ceremony part and a party dress for the evening. The dresses, the long dress in duchess satin and straps in hand-embroidered pearls, and the short one in silk satin and tulle embroidered with pearls, are intended to be ultra feminine and confident, like the Italian woman.
For the ceremony, she wore her hair straight – loose with a line of liner to accentuate her almond-shaped eyes. For the evening look, a smooth ponytail and a mix of smoky eyes – smoked liner for an intense and “so” sexy look. The model was accessorized by the BOs of Sabben House. All for a glamorous, refined and resolutely modern look!
Manuel, the groom, is dressed in two suits Blandin and Delloye. He wears a pure white two-piece suit in seersucker, a summery and original material that adds volume to his outfit, accompanied by a cotton denim polo shirt. An atypical mix, therefore, and with character. An air of Italy invites itself, blown by a relaxed cut and lapels worthy of a stroll on the Riviera.
For the evening, a black, chic and distinguished ensemble, through noble materials, velvet and satin and details that make all the difference, this is how beauty becomes timeless !

La Vita è bella: the scenography
“The design and scenography were created by Pauline, Wedding Planner for Plum Wedding, and Pauline, Floral Designer for Botanical Bazaar. For the artistic direction, the idea was to create a scenography and a design combining both the South, Italy and the Mediterranean. So, the colours of the hotel, this bright blue and a lemon yellow, very sunny, which we find in the gallery, but also the wavy shapes, guided us for our different set ups.
Several scenographies immediately made sense to us, the idea first of a small welcome basket for guests in their hotel room, filled with lovely products that remind you of Italy and vacations. Then of course an outdoor ceremony with a backdrop decorated with floral arrangements worked in mass in an abundant but natural way, taking up the colors of the place, juxtaposed with a bench covered with a sailor's fabric and the facade of the hotel (in raw white concrete reminiscent of the Californian hotels of Venice).
We then imagined a wavy table and we wanted the design to be both lively with the sunny side of the very spring-like and colorful flowers, as well as elegant with white and mineral tones and materials to bring a chic side to the dinner and the evening.
For stationery and signage, it's Marie-Eve, from Save the date to whom we owe this magnificent work. French Riviera inspiration was the focal point, once again around the symbol of the sea, of the south, which is found in the hotel's logo. The graphic style is a mix of typography and clean/modern layout with a more "handletter"/hand draw and "arty" style referring to the artists of the time on the Côte d'Azur: Matisse, Jean Cocteau.."
