How did the initiative for this wedding inspiration come about?
“This inspiring project is the result of an association of three people who are passionate about their professions: Valerie Raynaud Photography, Emily Décoration (event designer) and Camille Recolin (custom wedding dress designer). We had been wanting to collaborate on a joint project for a while.
It was the discovery of the place that was the trigger for this wonderful project!
We literally fell in love with this unique ruined building: an old residence with an adjoining chapel, as if frozen in time. This place, of impressive architectural scale, greatly inspired us and evoked the notion that everything can collapse, Love will always persist.
The hymn to love (a little nod to Edith Piaf!) resonated in our heads and strongly inspired us for the title of this photo project: "The world can well collapse".

The Scenography
"We had the title, the location and the stylistic lines of the shooting were gradually taking shape! The challenge here was to bring a touch of romance mixed with the sweetness of the wedding. We took the time to find a couple who would perfectly fit the location, a tattooed couple with character. A real favorite for these two!
For its scenography, Emily Decoration wanted to integrate a decoration that would blend into the place but that would not be transparent. She opted for natural materials: linen, the marble effect of the stationery, porcelain, crystal… For the gourmet corner and the table, she favored good French taste with second-hand objects, tableware signed by a local ceramicist Stephanie Minervini and delicacies that smell of tradition with madeleines, cannelés, meringues. The flowers have been worked around the dress, by its color and its vaporous fabrics.

The shooting team
"Camille Recolin chose to create a voluptuous dress in its cut and materials. A mix of lace embroidered with sequins and a peach-pink dress bottom made of muslin and tulle. A fashionable touch for the bride to bring allure to her silhouette and softness through its color.
She selected jewelry from the brand A Girl's Air, eye-catching gold earrings and delicate rings. Miss Delph Beauty took care of highlighting Marion's eyes... Carmen chose a modern side hair hairstyle softened by loose curls.

The old house was vast and it was a real playground for Valerie Raynaud as the light was different in every corner of the building. She made a point of bringing out the atmosphere of the place by using only natural light in her photographs.
Finally, we wanted to give “life” to the images, by calling on the videographer Antoine Vandenbrouk. Its offbeat and modern style we immediately liked it. The love and complicity of this couple was only sublimated!
As an anecdote, while we had already chosen our title a year ago, we learned that our favorite, our heart of stone is no more... As luck would have it, the chapel waited until we paid it a final tribute before collapsing for good. What will remain are the images of this beautiful adventure experienced with a team of passionate wedding service providers with the common desire to offer a service that is both creative and in harmony with the needs of the future bride and groom!
