Kamelon Couture, is a Nantes fashion house specializing in the creation of wedding dresses. Its creator, Laëtitia Drouet, has been making her custom-made models since 2009. A company on a human scale that has evolved over time by offering complementary services to its brides.
Sensitive to her environment, Laëtitia chose to include the act of creation in an eco-responsible approach. And her whole lifestyle has changed. When she decided to create her line of bridal kimonos, it was obvious that she would subscribe to this ethic. Today, the designer presents her 4 models that she offers for sale on his e-shop.

“A little over a year ago I imposed on myself to work in a process eco-responsible. So I reviewed a lot of things in the workshop to achieve this. It was obvious to me that the capsule collection had to be part of this approach. Two of the kimonos fulfill this objective 100%: in fact, once the kimonos are cut, there is no no falls of fabrics. Every centimeter of fabric is carefully calculated to be used. For this, I had to do a lot of work to develop the patterns, while respecting my initial sketches as much as possible. I also wanted refined and quality products with beautiful high-end finishes. So I decided to use only noble materials such as silk and French lace, especially that of Calais.

"To present this collection I also wanted something very refined, romantic but simple without fuss or artifice. Soft images, a beautiful boudoir session. I immediately thought of Marie Film photographer with whom I had already had the pleasure of collaborating on a project. Marie works with film. So yes it is not eco-responsible but the result is incomparable and we cannot cheat because the photos are not retouched.
The place was a little more difficult to find but by chance I discovered the Château de la Garnison. It was a real love at first sight.
