In the twilight light of the Breton coast, the striped girl dances alone on the beach. She undulates divinely carefree and eternal.
For this first column of STYLE ME, I share with you this favorite creation “The striped girl”, imagined by Claudine CreationInspired by the timeless sailor's top, the Breton designer has imagined an outfit with character and timeless values.

"When you hear hooves you think horse, but sometimes it's a zebra, and when you hear heels you think woman, but if you're lucky it might be a striped girl.
Spontaneous, charming and full of character, it is above all a certain allure, an attitude. Simplicity, freedom and authenticity are its values, all symbolized in what best represents its DNA, it is like a binary code, simple blue lines on a white cotton canvas ... the sailor shirt.
This is the garment so dear to my heart, which seems to infinitely highlight all the charm of striped girls. No false eyelashes or artifice, she grabs your heart as if it were nothing with just a strand of hair in her neck falling from a bun that is held by a small daily miracle
Here, no blue lines, but solids and voids which are played with crepe bands and corded lace ribbons, three small covered buttons on the shoulder, all simply tied in the back.
To complete the outfit, a long skirt with bridges, in pleated muslin with a montage that refers to the famous kilt.

This collaboration with Charles Séguy and the wild coast of Brittany was for me the ideal opportunity to exploit the sailor's shirt and it was the starting point for this creation. It's a bit like a tribute to this garment which alone refers to so many things that make up my bubble, my most beautiful sources of inspiration: Brittany and the old Paris of postcards, Coco Chanel, Brigitte Bardot, Jean-Paul Gaultier ... and many other men and women in stripes.
