The wedding day
"D-Day was a reflection of these 12 months of preparation, full of joy and good humor. Even if the rain (and the cold) showed up, the party was beautiful and what mattered was to be all together. We quickly forgot that it was raining and in the end I regret having stressed about the weather, it's just a detail and it doesn't spoil the party at all!"

A little “anecdote” of bridle
"On Saturday morning, feeling that everyone was getting restless, I slipped away to take a bubble bath for an hour and it was my elixir of youth. So if I have one piece of advice to give to future brides, take advantage of D Day to take care of yourself and recharge your batteries!"

Wedding Suppliers
Location – family home
Catering – Bertille Jallerat (but I don't recommend them, big disappointment of the wedding)
Flowers – a very good little local florist (which shows that you don't necessarily have to look very far) => purchased flowers in bulk, then we made the bouquets ourselves
Groom's Attire – Gambler Costume

DJ – the music box
Gypsy Jazz Orchestra - Adrien Marco Trio
The decoration - we had chosen the rustic theme since we were in the countryside and so it resulted in bales of hay in the path along the tent, a rustic photo booth. For the tables, we retraced the years from our birth to today: a photo frame in the middle of the tables with a photo of Martin and me each year. As table decorations, a lot of DIY: lace tealight holders, handmade rustic bouquets, homemade jams, menus rolled with bakertwine. As tent decorations: lanterns in the colors of our wedding: pink and Tiffany green. Finally, for those who are more sensitive to the cold, blankets are available at the entrance to the tent.
