Wedding in Isle-sur-la-Sorgue – Radouan + Bedrya
CONTENTS
Radouan is French. Bedrya, a captivating young lady with English and Kuwaiti origins. It is in London that they meet and never leave each other again. And it is in Dubai that they go to live together. A marriage proposal in Brazil and here they are launched into the fabulous adventure of marriage. A day surrounded by their loved ones in the beautiful Provence.
To the sound of cicadas, they exchanged vows to love each other tenderly forever.
With images of Loic Legros, they tell us their story…
Their story
"Radouan is a young Frenchman, arriving in England to finish his studies, full of hope for his future. It is there that he will meet Bedrya, a charming young lady with an English mother and a Kuwaiti father.
A real love at first sight that will take them to Dubai where they currently reside.

The marriage proposal
"In October 2013, we flew to the other side of the world, to Brazil, for an unforgettable vacation. Radouan imagined and had created the ring of my dreams (naturally I was not aware).
During our stay he took me to eat in one of the best restaurants on the coast of Ipanema Beach and then we went for a walk on the beach. The lights were magical and I remember the sound of the waves in the background.
That's when he got down on one knee, told me how much he loved me and asked for my hand in marriage with a "solarly beautiful" ring. I was just crying with emotion and I said a big YES."

Wedding in Isle-sur-la-Sorgue
« Carmelites, close to the village of Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, the former residence of the Carmelites dependent on the Pope, who at that time was based in Avignon. When Stéphanie introduced us to this place, we selected it without even seeing it, so sure were we of our choice.
Wedding planning à Isle-sur-la-Sorgue
"Everything happened in close collaboration with our wedding planner, with whom we selected, step by step, all the partners for our day. Stéphanie Fayolle from Weddings of excellence in Provence also made sure to respect our wishes down to the smallest detail in terms of floral decoration and design.
We were able to meet Stéphanie from WEP in Provence a few months later, to do our test at the caterer and finally "discover our site" which was more than up to our expectations. The last few months have passed refining the details with our organizer.

The wedding day
"To the sound of cicadas, my family arrived two days before on the site that we had privatized, everyone found the country house "so Provençal" it was what we were looking for: authenticity and glamour at the same time. From the top of my suite which looked out on all sides of the site, I saw Stéphanie and her team create throughout the day our lifelong dream where our friends and families "would feel pampered."
Our challenge was to combine respect for traditions for our "elders" with our desire to celebrate in a warm setting and it was a real success."

The Wedding Budget
"Stéphanie helped us a lot in this process by respecting our budget at each stage and negotiating closely with each partner. Partners who have also become friends and whom we all invited to our wedding, mixing them with the guests during the meal, a great memory."
Their best memory
“Discovering the courtyard where we were going to have our meal decorated as in my dreams but especially Radouan’s eyes and his emotion when I walked alongside him on his father’s arm.”

What if I had to do it again?
"We're signing right away and since Radouan has his family in France, we know that we'll see Stéphanie and the whole team again, which delights us more than anything. We can't wait for the glass of rosé next summer in Provence."
Advice from the newlyweds
“Take a wedding planner who knows how to listen to you, for a year it's like a big sister who surrounds us with her good advice.
…. We just hope to celebrate our 10 years in Provence”
