The wedding of Noémie and Amédée in their family home
CONTENTS
I like to believe that friendship is a rare feeling that is granted to very few people. Those with whom everything is simple, free and without pretense. Those who impose neither judgment nor questioning.
I share this friendship with Noémie. I have known this girl forever. Almost 30 years of friendship, crazy years of sighing our first loves in an entrance hall, laughing and crying about our joys and sorrows. And then, there is him. Amédée, this lover and this wonderful dad. I could not have dreamed of a better man for this incredible woman! With "their little chicks", they have built a life full of love and kindness. Living a part of this life by their side is an immense happiness.
When Noémie asked me to be one of her witnesses, I was like a kid. I was waiting for this wedding with so much desire. And I was not disappointed with the trip, it was a fabulous moment. At their side, the cream of the professionals perfectly orchestrated by Stéphanie Fayolle of WEP in Provence.
With the beautiful images of Marion Heurteboust, Noémie tells us more…
The initial meeting
“We met through a mutual friend at a dinner. We were 30 years old respectively. I learned that he had lived on a houseboat for several years when he was younger, and I was looking to buy one at the time. I asked him on Facebook after that dinner to get his opinion on houseboat life. From that moment on, a daily exchange began between us while he was back in Mexico on business.
He suggested I come and join him for a short vacation and after several days of thinking about it I went. It was both exciting and scary!

The marriage proposal
“After a few months, he proposed to me, but it was still too soon for me… We had a little boy the following year, then a little girl less than two years later. Happiness with its share of difficulties, which weakened us and then strengthened us.
Amédée proposed for the second time on my birthday. He had planned a weekend in Corsica, which he ultimately canceled because of the rain and also because we can't leave our children! (laugh) We're addicted! But it was great, I blew out my candles with my loved ones with a beautiful ring on my finger and blew out my candles again with our children the next day. A wonderful weekend."

A wedding in a family home in Provence
We chose to get married on my mother-in-law's family estate, between Aix and Marseille. You should know that my mother-in-law has almost all her brothers and sisters there with their descendants. A very large family with lots of cousins our age and that of our children. This place is incredible for that. It seemed obvious and natural to us to do it there. For my part, I don't know any cousins and for hers it's the ultra cousinade! It's extraordinary and precious.
Wedding planning in Provence
We called on a wedding planner, Stéphanie Fayolle from WEP in Provence, on the good advice of my dear witness and childhood friend Clémentine! And we don't regret it! She helped us visualize the steps, set deadlines, decide easily on many points, she avoided conflicts for sure! And she directed us towards excellent service providers. We were able to do things more calmly, the stress was under control, especially on the big day!
Wedding decoration in Provence
"Our wedding planner introduced us to Céline, a florist for a Jardin en Ville, who made us a beautiful decoration with flowers in yellow and white tones with old vases, and for the Church with the olive tree and ivy, a symbol of eternity and fidelity. It was simple and beautiful."
Their best memory
"Our children come to the altar to get our wedding rings that the priest blesses in the hollow of their little hands and that they bring to us. So adorable, so strong. Our union took on at that moment a meaning so much greater than the 2 of us! It was the 4 of us. Our family."

Advice from the newlyweds
- A wedding planner who has good contacts for service providers it's worth it and for the big day it's considerably relaxing! It allowed us to really enjoy it.
- Et a short dress ! I find it more consistent with our times and easier! I was able to dance, move with ease and keep my dress impeccable until the end of the night! »
