He proposed to me one stormy night while on holiday in Mauritius; everything was planned for an exclusive dinner on a deserted beach, but the weather had other plans!

In the end it was just as successful, with hundreds of rose petals covering the ground of a pretty villa, with a local guitar player, and a beautiful hurricane outside…

A wedding in Saint Tropez

The location of our wedding was always quite obvious to us, our little corner of paradise, our refuge, our most beautiful holidays with our son Leo: Saint-Tropez.  We chose to celebrate our wedding at Nikki Beach in St-Tropez, a festive restaurant very dear to our hearts since it was on this superb beach that Thomas began his career as a VIP waiter.

Wedding planning in Saint Tropez

I chose to organize our wedding myself; it's something that has always appealed to and excited me! I bought a large binder in which I organized my ideas, quotes from vendors, etc. Thomas was very involved; he liked it when I shared my ideas with him so we could choose together. We made two trips to the south of France and met with most of the vendors in Paris, and everything fell into place quite nicely. Personally, I didn't find it very difficult; you just have to be well-organized (and be able to dedicate some time to it!).

We were lucky enough to celebrate our civil union in the charming and typical town hall of the village of Saint-Tropez at the end of the morning, under a beautiful sun! Later in the day, we headed to the Nikki Beach where we had orchestrated our secular ceremony at sunset followed by a cocktail reception around the pool with a small fado concert (a tribute to Thomas's Portuguese origins) and then an incredible dinner under the stars to the frenetic rhythm of the live Vogue Live band!

Wedding decorations in Saint Tropez

I found most of my inspiration on Pinterest (of course!), I have a passion for interior design so I already had a pretty clear idea of ​​what I wanted… Far from the ostentatious side of Saint-Tropez, I wanted a bohemian-chic decor, romantic, all in white!

I chose to highlight the floral decor, with a central theme: eucalyptus foliage, mixed with the raw wood of the tables and white drapes. The venue is already all white and very beautifully decorated, so there wasn't much to do!

Our ceremony, entirely in our image thanks to Father Antoine who knew how to advise and accompany us, we wanted an authentic moment mixing a touch of religion… This moment reflected us, our respective vows made ALL our guests (and service providers) cry, it was a moment full of emotions, magnificently captured by Fanny Tiara and Les Michaud.
