To celebrate their union, the couple didn't hesitate for a second: they headed to Corsica, a land dear to their hearts. In the heart of Cap Corse, the sublime Hotel Misincu - andbetween wild scrubland and private beach — becomes the setting for a festive weekend conceived in a couture spirit. Two days of celebration combining a black tie dress code, a ceremony with feet in the sand and a chic but delightfully relaxed atmosphere.

The initial meeting

The marriage proposal
Some before Christmas and spread over a crazy day with stages announced by envelopes containing messages. The day started in Paris at 8am and took me in London for dinner and the weekend that followed. I arrived in London via these message envelopes, after an incredible day in a sublime hotel where a dress and a pair of pumps awaited me before a driver came to pick me up to join him at a magical place where he asked me to marry him. A romantic comedy pitch.

Corsica, and that's all.. We didn't ask ourselves any questions about the location. We wanted to get married in Corsica, dear to our hearts. We then looked for a place worthy of this moment, we wanted to be able to accommodate all our guests, over 2 days and say yes with our feet in the sand.
The Misincù 5 star hotel in the Cap a few minutes from Bastia combining scrubland and sea with a private beach just opened at the time quickly established itself.

Organizing a wedding in Corsica
Us from A to Z in partnership with the hotel (special mention to Kimberley our angel on site) like that I was sure that it would resemble us. We were lucky to be free in our choice of service providers. So we brought in a lot of professionals by accommodating them on site for the 2 days. I made several trips back and forth between our Parisian home and our Corsica to prepare everything. Armed with PinterestI placed numerous orders for candles and lanterns from my favorite brands. I was my own wedding planner and I loved it.

Wedding flowers
While strolling through Bastia one weekend, I pushed open the door ofa florist on site who had just moved in. THE MEETING. We immediately understood each other on the chic but relaxed atmosphere that we wanted. We had the same phobia of gypsophila everywhere that we saw too much. We established two palettes, a chic white one for the Saturday evening cocktail dinner and a warmer one, terracotta old pink powder white, with seasonal flowers for the ceremony and the dinner on the beach.
