Wedding at the Château de Robernier – Marina + Pierre-Alexandre

They met on a rainy day in spring.

10 years later, Marina and Pierre-Alexandre celebrated their wedding in the South of France. A long weekend of celebration with their closest friends.

The initial meeting

"Pierre Alexandre and I met almost 10 years ago. One afternoon in May when the rain was pouring down. When I met him, through mutual friends, I already suspected that our story would be long."

The marriage proposal

"I was proposed to on April 5st, and no, it's not a joke! Amsterdam is one of our beloved cities, he prepared his proposal there to perfection, beautiful hotel, beautiful view, gourmet restaurant and gift to punctuate this sublime April day. A box containing XNUMX large books with gold letters, which he designated and filled himself with polaroids telling our story since we met. The last page covering a tab, once it was lifted a bottom in the book appeared with "will you marry me" written above the "yes" and the "no".

« The Château de Robernier is idyllic. The Var, a region that we love, we spend all our summers in the South East, with friends in Provence or with parents in Antibes or in Juan Les Pins where Pierre-Alexandre has a second home. Also, we wanted to have a wedding under the sun, when we came across Robernier Castle, everyone agreed."

Wedding planning

“We organized a wedding in our image with the help of Sweet Blossom In coordination, my husband wanted the atmosphere to be there, that our families appreciate the music, our Spanish origins guided us towards a Latin music group, the atmosphere was extraordinary.

For my part, the floral decoration and the universe were the two points that mattered enormously to me. With theVik's workshop, we looked for original flower varieties for magnificent visuals.

Wedding decoration

“We had a variety of fantastic flowers. For the flamenco wedding on Saturday we chose very colorful varieties of flowers, all colors were presented, red roses, giant peonies, thistles, eucalyptus. My bouquet of flowers were rock and roll.

For the wedding ceremony, I wanted a Provencal atmosphere, the decorations obviously lent themselves to it, I chose a mixture of flowers and olive trees. For the tables, I absolutely wanted fruits and flowers, so the florists prepared a floral decoration with figs, peaches, pomegranates as well as bouquets of magnificent flowers. The florist had prepared a bridal bouquet for me with fruits, blackberries but these had ripened too much for me to wear it, so we changed at the last minute!

I was lucky enough to have a princess wedding but we took care of all the textile part being in the wedding domain.

Their best memory

“All the activities that were put in place gave me a lot of pleasure. We organized a long wedding weekend, where there was no shortage of activities. The guests were all invited to the Château to enjoy the activities that we had planned on site: Saturday pool party, with pink champagne and outdoor games available, pétanque, molki, giant mikado...

On Saturday we invited guests to a wine tasting at Château Nestuby with a visit to the vineyards and a tasting which was a great success. On Saturday evening, a reception on the Spanish theme, with giant barbecue and gypsy singers and flamenco dancers.

Sunday for “THE” wedding, during the cocktail, the gospel group was in charge of musical entertainment and a flower crown workshop organized by theLouise's Green Workshop, where men and women were able to make flower crowns as they wished.
