Wedding in the heart of the ruins
CONTENTS
Tinted with elegance and romanticism, this wedding editorial immerses us in the heart of the ruins from the old chapel of Domaine de Montigny. A mystical atmosphere where nature reclaims its rights and magnifies the places. Surrounded by a great team of wedding professionals, Marine Cordier and Julie from Konfetti drew this with 4 hands wedding inspiration.
With the beautiful images of Joanna Bonhomme, the duo gives us their inspirations…
How did the initiative for this shooting come about?
"We are Julie from Konfetti et Marine Cordier, wedding and event planners. For the record, we met during our training in events 5 years ago. Since then, we have been friends and work together whenever we have the opportunity.
Carrying out a wedding inspiration shoot therefore seemed obvious to us.”

The Memorial
“So we came up with the theme: “ A wedding in the heart of the ruins » in the Old Chapel of Domaine de Montigny.
Un a place overflowing with charm and history that allowed us to highlight everything we had thought and imagined for this project. We wanted to create an arch that was out of the ordinary, using the natural decor of the Estate.

The shooting team
“We called upon service providers with as many human as professional qualities.
Photographer
To start, Joanna Bonhomme, our talented photographer regularly called upon to shoot our beautiful Miss France, knew how to enhance our ideas like no one else.
Flowers
Laetitia of Reflections Flowers has, as usual, created a sublime floral decor while soaking up the place. Her fine work in these ruins produced the result we expected: natural and above all very realistic; the flowers seemed to have come to life through the stones. She also provided us with raw wood furniture and some decorative elements to enhance the head table.

The models
Lola and Angélique, our two beautiful models, perfectly understood the image we wanted to give to this shooting. Highlight the love within a couple of two women, so that the LGBTQ+ community can identify more.
They both showcased the incredible creations ofSwan Workshop and Meryl Suissa.
Make-up and hairdressing
Edwige Letouze, the make-up & hair artist, highlighted the models' natural beauty with her expert eye.
Accessories
To best accessorize the models, we called on several inspiring designers: Paulette on a bicycle for its alliances with ethical values, Lizeron for its handmade jewelry and Chamberlan for its 100% French shoes.

Stationery
We were lucky to have two talented stationery designers: Rosemood, more than recognized in this environment, who made us a tailor-made guestbook but also Flower Ink, who made all the stationery.
Ceramic
Carole Fraile was a wonderful discovery for us in the world of ceramics, she was able to take us into her world full of poetry and delicacy.
The wedding cake
And to finish, Johanna Flamand imagined a wedding cake in the colors of our shooting that we had the joy of tasting at the end of this beautiful day. A pleasure for the taste buds.
A great team for a wonderful project!”
The scenography
“We both wanted a shoot that combined nature, minimalism and elegance. We took advantage of the existing setting, the beautiful ruins of the old chapel in the heart of the greenery to create this natural decor. Highlighting a table of honor seemed important to us so that the future bride and groom could best project themselves for their big day. The choice of furniture as well as the tableware could only be raw in order to maintain consistency with the theme.«
