Wedding at the Mas des Comtes de Provence – Delphine + Lucas

Elegance and simplicity set the tone for this wedding at Mas des Comtes de Provence. In love with the South of France, they celebrated their vows in the fall of 2020 in a more than uncertain health context. Despite everything, they will forever cherish this beautiful day in Provence that they experienced with their loved ones.

The initial meeting

“We met at a party at a mutual friend's house when we were both students (on internships) in Paris. 

I went up to Delphine to ask her for a cigarette even though I didn't smoke. It was a way for me to start talking to her. We talked all night and then we went to a nightclub where we danced all night long."

The marriage proposal

“I proposed to Delphine duringa weekend in Rome. I didn't have anything special planned but I thought it might be nice to propose to her on the way back from the restaurant the first night. I had planned to make a little detour on the way back to walk along the river and propose there. But Delphine decided otherwise. She was tired after dinner (which was very boozy) and didn't see the point in making a detour. I had to change my plans and proposed impromptu in front of the hotel!

Wedding at the Mas des Comtes de Provence

"We chose the Mas des Comtes de Provence because we wanted to get married in the south of France, where I come from and where Delphine also has ties. We were looking for a pleasant place, with charm, easy to access and with the capacity to accommodate our friends. We fell under the spell of the Mas des Comtes de Provence which meets all these criteria and had a very good feeling with the owners who took great care of us.

Wedding planning

"We discovered our hidden organizational talents with the wedding. It wasn't easy but we were helped a lot by the Mas des Comtes."

Wedding decoration

"In terms of decoration, we opted for something quite simple (just a few flowers), the Mas being already very pretty. We added candles and lights to illuminate the place in the evening and create an intimate atmosphere."

The best memory of the day

“The best memory of the day is the ceremony at the church, in front of our friends and families. « 

Advice from the newlyweds

“Not really any advice to give. But the choice of providers is very important. We have chosen  providers with whom we really connected, in whom we had complete confidence in order to be as calm as possible on the big day. We completely delegated the organization/coordination of the providers on our wedding day to some of our loved ones in order to be able to make the most of the moment.
