Bohemian wedding in Marrakech
Three days in Marrakech, like an enchanted interlude
After six years of living together and the arrival of their two children, Aline and Geoffrey chose to celebrate their story where the dream took on its full meaning. Marrakech It became obvious: a sunny, vibrant destination, conducive to prolonged celebrations and shared emotions.
Surrounded by around forty close friends and family, they envisioned an intimate and immersive wedding, conceived as a unique experience. Three days out of timeWith its oriental fragrance and bohemian touches, punctuated by enchanting decor, golden light, and a decidedly warm atmosphere, it was a succession of powerful, sincere, and joyful moments, forever etched in our memories.
Through the luminous images of Klassen Weddings and Patte Christoph, the newlyweds open the doors to this absolutely magical Moroccan getaway…
The initial meeting
We met in 2017 during a real estate network seminar, the magic happened and then everything took off. Two children later and a wedding that exceeded all our expectations.
The marriage proposal
On the day of our second daughter's christening, we gathered all our loved ones for a very beautiful day, I took the opportunity to propose to Aline, I wanted to share this moment with everyone.

The reception venue in Marrakech
Aline had always wanted to get married in Marrakech… we each started looking for a venue separately and we both fell in love with the Villa Taj MarrakechThe search therefore lasted barely an hour. An email to Marianne, a reply within the hour, and it was the beginning of our exceptional adventure in a magnificent place beyond all expectations.
Wedding planning in Marrakech
We placed our complete trust in the Villa Taj team, which is organized like a wedding planning agency. Their reverse planning system made everything simple, efficient, and above all, stress-free.
From the beginning, the retroplanning took us through the steps without it being a headache, we chose our decoration for each highlight of the wedding from their very comprehensive photo galleries.
We looked at the Villa Taj Instagram from all directions and we fell in love with it the photographer Claudia Lichttrunken who had already organized some very beautiful weddings in Marrakech at this villa.

Wedding decoration
The welcome dinner
In the 1001 lights tent which is a modern Moroccan tent with a whole wall made of mirrors in which the lights were reflected. It was magical with all those candles, lanterns, and incredible Moroccan lamps. A decor that was both very oriental and modern. The staging was simply amazing with the low tables arranged around the pool.
The wedding ceremony
A bohemian chic ceremony With pampas grass lining the aisle, a round, flower-covered swing to decorate the bridal arch, all coordinated with the dresses and suits of our children and the wedding party. Wooden and straw chairs to maintain the bohemian chic theme, flowing drapes throughout the ceremony area, and above all, the Marrakech light, which at 18 PM is simply magical..

The wedding dinner
We wanted it in front of the swimming pool 25 meters lit only on the edges by straw lanterns which gives all its splendor to this magical reception area. The pool is not lit voluntarily so that the giant olive bonsai tree at the end of the pool can be reflected. The "elegant and bright" dinner theme consists of a long table runner made of olive branches and 200 white rose soliflores all cut to 10 cm, candles of different sizes all along and tall candlesticks to enhance this banquet. Transparent placemats with a gold border, a decorative menu and transparent Napoleon chairs.
Brunch the day after the wedding
Bohemian Chic Theme
Under a majestic avenue of century-old olive trees, a long table decorated with a thousand mini pampas and very tall bouquets of "giant pampas" with wooden log placemats, all interspersed with vaporous veils. The spot is just incredible to experience. A cool buffet in the pool house and a dream day with bursts of laughter and magical conviviality. It's really a great moment that we don't regret, we took the time to be with everyone and share happy moments. It's true that the temperature of Marrakech and its great climate contribute to the success of this memorable weekend.
The desert
Villa Taj is located opposite the Marrakech desert. The quad bikes are delivered to the villa, and off we go for an hour and a half through breathtaking lunar landscapes to the villa's secret spot: a desert camp in the middle of nowhere. We had brought our wedding outfits for a photoshoot in the early evening, just as night fell. This final evening lived up to the weekend, with an incredible Moroccan and African atmosphere. This desert evening was the perfect ending to this immersive wedding experience in the heart of Marrakech.

Their most moving memory
Having shared this unforgettable moment in this magical place with all our loved ones who were captivated by all these dinners and lunches that followed one another with a decor and a place that changed each time.
Their best choice in wedding planning
We almost didn't have dinner in the desert, but it was such a magical moment completely cut off from everything that we don't regret it.
