Couture Wedding at Château Vallery
Couture and spring rendezvous with this wedding inspiration au Château de Vallery. With a dance step, Maïlys BOONE from l'Lys workshop imagined this editorial that is both graceful and elegant. In the image of this French art of living that we envy so much.
With the beautiful pictures Benoit Pitre, Maïlys shares her inspirations with us…
How did the initiative for this shooting come about?
Did you know that dance is a language?
A language devoid of words where our bodies silently express the depths of our soul.
So imagine what this dance can be like. The one that changes your life.
Each of your steps is a promise of shared moments, a perfect harmony of two souls discovering each other in music.
Your first dances were like his first kisses: shy but filled with passion. Every movement was a silent expression of your growing love.
Over time, dance has become your secret language. You have learned to understand each other without words, to guide each other with grace and trust. Dance is the reflection of your indissoluble bond, a deep connection that has brought you to this day when you say “I do”. This day when the dance seals your union for eternity.
Your eyes meet his. Your hand slides into his. Your bodies come closer. The music begins. It fills the space, descends into your body. It inhabits you. So far from the noise that surrounds you, far from the excitement of this day, you escape into this blue dream where your bodies abandoned to the rhythm dance your love.

The artistic direction
Dawn is here. It dresses Vallery Castle of his golden coat and awakens Carlotta and Gabriel in a sweet excitement. They are a few steps from each other. However, it is not yet time to hug.
The bride wrapped in the dress of her dreams shines like a star in the azure sky. Hidden behind her flower-scented veil, she smiles at us. A smile we don't know. She is happy, she is calm and yet, her steps can wait no longer. So, she closes her eyes. And abandoning herself to the music we hear in the background, behind the murmurs and laughter of her friends, she dances.
One floor above, Gabriel, in his beautiful black suit, contemplates the park. From his window, he sees the place where in a few moments, he will receive his wife. He is far away, lost in his thoughts, a smile lights up his face and we can guess where his eyes are lost...
Noon! It's time, everyone take their seats, the bride and groom are coming! Can you feel it? This excitement, this joy! Already tears are welling up in my eyes!
Dressed in her white dress, with a step so light that she seems to brush the grass, Carlotta and Gabriel advance towards this table taken from a fairy tale. Inspired by a Renaissance painting, we find modernized colors and textures.

Every detail reminds us of the beauty of this day. The pure noble roses embrace us with their perfume and revive our eyes with their beauty. These plain, unstructured and modern compositions are an explosion of joy! Antique silverware blends with modern speckled stoneware plates. The elegance of the chiseled crystal embraces the soft and light silk muslin of the napkins. The stationery, a masterpiece of craftsmanship, reminds us of French art through the frescoes of the Garnier Opera and modernity with its hot embossing. Finally, the brass angels and minimalist candlesticks recall the balance of time. This table takes us on a journey without forgetting the present time of this special day. Around the three key words: dance, renaissance and modernity, we celebrate the beauty of art.
Dare we share their table?
It seems as if they are inviting us there. And soon the candles are dancing between us, creating a ballet of light on the still-bright petals.
Later, the sky is adorned with its starry mantle and the castle with its torches. The musicians call our attention with this tune that we recognize.
Could it be time? Where are they? Here they are, coming down, hand in hand, from the terrace with the olive trees. Are they really there? We see them. Yet they seem so far away. The music envelops them and their souls swirl under the stars like a metaphor for their life to come. Untouchable, their gazes do not leave each other. Amazed by this star that opens the ball with such grace, we stay a little longer to contemplate it before coming in our turn to brush against this parquet floor and dance our joy with them.

Professional advice for future brides and grooms
To all the brides and grooms, make this day special. a moment that suits you, and which reflects your personality.
Never underestimate the power of flowers and decoration that come to dress your reception venue. It is therefore important to allocate a budget for the art of the table, the table linen, the pretty furniture, and the small decoration. It is the whole that makes your decoration successful.
Surround yourself with those closest to you those who are happy for you and wish you the best.
Opting for an intimate wedding allows you to treat yourself, to enjoy with each guest and spoil your guests.
The first dance is a moment just the two of you., prepare well, practice, take dance lessons if it can help you feel more comfortable and confident. It is a moment of strong connection between the two of you, a deep emotion to feel the body of the one to whom you said "Yes for life".
And remember, it is your love and joy of life that will make your marriage shine.
