Theatrical Winter Romance
CONTENTS
Poetry and elegance are in the spotlight of this very first article of the year. This one has been desired like a winter laziness that stretches out. The pressing desire to push back the crazy recovery by a few days and gain the momentum needed to jump into this new year with both feet.
Dear future brides and grooms, wedding professionals and partners, thanks to our almost daily meetings we will celebrate in 2022 15 years of the blog. Fifteen wonderful years punctuated by beautiful encounters and incredible adventures. By your side, I dreamed, cried with emotion, laughed heartily. I also grew up and became emancipated. Madame C's blog was my bubble of inspiration and creation. Today, this blog, which was only intended to share, is as I had dreamed: authentic, sunny and poetic.
What do you wish for 2022? Weddings that make your head spin and your heart beat faster. Always more creativity for our dream makers, who work behind the scenes and who for two years have not had an easy task. Love to the stars and iron health. Here are my wishes for you. And if I dared, I would dream of a beautiful party with those who participated in the success of the blog. Who knows…
To kick off our 2022 adventures, I welcome back my dear Geraldine Benech, founder of the wedding planning agency The Great Moments. She shares a little of her magic and poetry with this winter couture inspiration at Domaine de Manville.
With the beautiful images of Christophe Serrano, Géraldine Benech shares her inspirations with us…
How did the initiative for this shooting come about?
“A desire to create a winter wedding atmosphere and explore deep hues. Get out of our comfort zone. Bring a touch of poetry to the Wild Luxury which defines The Great Moments"

Couture wedding at Domaine de Manville
“The Manville Estate in Les Baux de Provence.
Provence again and again for this natural light which fascinates me, inspires me and soothes me. The Manville Estate, for this exceptional glass roof and also to highlight this place which offers multiple possibilities for scenographies and atmospheres.

The shooting team
"The basis of an editorial, the photographer, Christophe Serrano, for his eye and his way of photographing details.
I really wanted to surround myself with people who create unique pieces with their hands. That's how I discovered Anna Note, @maisonnote, an artist, a real one.
I dreamed of a handmade ceramic plate set. And as for the editorials, I only like large tables, it was a real challenge. And then I met a generous person, Anne-Lise Dabry, archaeologist and ceramist, @al.ceramiquesShe created a collection of around fifty plates especially for us.
My accomplice @fleursdefee to floral styling.
I was also lucky enough to be able to style lifestyle thanks to major brands that trusted me. As a true Parisian, for example, I asked Diptyque to lend me their iconic fragrances (which they ultimately gave me).
@graphikkart for editing, @be_lounge_official for the chairs, @phos_events for the chandeliers, @jolibazaar for cutlery and glasses.

The scenography
“The starting point was the desire to create by integrating deep shades, a scenography that is at once luxurious, poetic and theatrical.
The desire also to work with pure and noble materials. Silk georgette for tablecloths, ceramic for tableware, handmade paper for publishing…
Integrate black also. It was the first time I did it."
