From a match, the beautiful story begins. A year later, it is Place des Vosges that he takes a knee. From this evidence, Isabelle and David have drawn a wedding in the Landes. Accompanied by their wedding planner Marta Drougard, they took full advantage of their preparations, remaining only in the pleasure of the organization. A late summer wedding celebrated at the Coco Barn Wood Lodge with soft and elegant notes.

The initial meeting
“A curious adventure. On the way back from a 5-day trek in Vanoise, with a damaged windshield on the way, a dating app tells us that we crossed paths when I took my car in for repairs.
Unlikely… We don’t choose anything, it just happens when the time is right.”

The marriage proposal
“A complete surprise, just over a year after our first meeting. Place des Vosges in Paris, on a beautiful summer evening.

During our visit, the warm welcome from Corenthine and Antoine, the owners, and the beauty of the place immediately appealed to us: our decision was made, this will be our Ceremony location."

Wedding planning
“A short year of preparation, between choosing the location and celebrating our commitment.
We chose to get married in the Landes, a place far from the Ile de France where we live. We have a fairly demanding professional life and a busy family life. (blended family of four teenagers).
We were convinced that we needed to be accompanied in the organization of our wedding by a person whose job it is. The invaluable help of Marta, our wedding planner, at each stage, allowed us to make this weekend an unforgettable moment that reflects us.

“A decoration that we wanted to be simple, soft and elegant. The color palette: very light beige, iridescent white, gold
Flowers: palm, monstera, lunaria, cycas, golden gypsophila, white roses and dill for their graphic side.

Choosing your wedding outfits
“A dress created by Mariana at Swan workshop: very fluid in silk chiffon and embroidered tulle from Caudry. Plays of transparency, a V-neckline in front and back. During the fitting session, this dress was the very first one I wore: no doubt, it will be this one!
The straight suit, in a fabric with a light check pattern which gives it a slightly British look.
Their most moving memory
"When our children spoke, quite unexpectedly during our secular ceremony skillfully orchestrated by our officiant Stella, to share with us their joy of being there, with us."

Advice from the newlyweds
“Preparing an event like this really takes time, no matter how many guests you have. We can assume that, but it’s a real whirlwind.
Do you say that Preparations are part of the adventure, take advantage of it to make them moments in their own right: the choice of your dress, the tasting session with the caterer, a long romantic weekend to meet the people who will work with you...
Choose as much as possible “local” professionals, who are used to working together. They know their region and their products perfectly... Trust them, you will have the chance to meet wonderful people. Preparing your wedding is also a wonderful human adventure, full of emotions.
If you choose, like us, a secular ceremony, do not hesitate to be accompanied by a person whose job it is (a very beautiful profession that we knew nothing about!). Building this commitment ceremony, with Stella as a guide, is giving a deep meaning to this moment and this celebration, it is a deep joy and a lot of emotions!
After the wedding, all that remains are memories of these wonderful moments…and, fortunately, the photographs taken to remind you of them. Patricia knew how to capture these beautiful moments: an atmosphere, a style, colors, looks…which will allow us to relive these moments that passed much too quickly for a long time.
