Provencal wedding at Château d'Estoublon – Emma + Thomas
CONTENTS
In a breath of elegance, Emma and Thomas designed a wedding in their image. Despite their reluctance to get married in Provence and in a Château, they have a crazy crush on the Estoublon Castle in Fontvieille. From this evidence, their wedding planning came to life. A spring day bathed in sunshine and beautiful vibrations.
With the beautiful images of Ben Levy et Stéphane M, The newlyweds tell us….
The initial meeting
"Having most of our friends in common, they decided to play matchmaker and, to our surprise, it worked! Despite the distance (we didn't even live in the same country), our story began and of course our feelings only grew stronger."

The marriage proposal
"In the middle of the Covid period, and after my plans A, B and C fell through, I had to be inventive so as not to delay my application again. Living in Geneva, I chose to rent a sailboat and to ask for her hand in marriage in the middle of Lake Geneva, under a flamboyant sunset like she loves so much…”

Provencal wedding at the Château d'Estoublon
"After saying: " Anything but Provence! " and " Anything but a castle! ", we had, as soon as we arrived, a real crush on Estoublon Castle. The estate, although still under construction when we first came, met all of our criteria. This magical place largely contributed to the success of our wedding, we have no regrets! »
Wedding planning
"We decided to organize our wedding ourselves. We knew it would be difficult, but having a (very) clear idea of what we wanted made it easier. To make it more enjoyable, our parents also accompanied us to some of the meetings."

Wedding decoration
"Like the rest of the wedding, we wanted a fairly sober atmosphere while trying to remain chic. Whether for the flowers, the decoration or the stationery we opted for a white and gold theme with a touch of olive green in order to recall the environment of the Château and the region of Provence."
Choosing the wedding dress
“A single address: Nicolas Fafiotte in Lyon. I tried on a lot of things before going to see him but nothing comparable… He knew how to listen, advise me and reassure me when I was totally lost but also point me in the right direction when he felt I was going astray.”

Their most moving memory
Memory of Emma :
"Thomas' speech at the cocktail party. I knew he had been preparing it for a long time but to be honest, I didn't expect it to be this successful!"
Thomas' memory:
"Emma's Entry into the Church on his father’s arm, to the sounds of Vivo per Lei.”
Souvenir of the bride and groom :
"The wave of kindness, love, excitement and generosity that we received from all of our guests. Their words, their gestures or simply their smiles particularly touched us."

Their best choice in wedding planning
“Without hesitation: The Memorial ! We have only been married for a few months and we have already been back several times, we feel so good there.
Thanks to our photographer, Ben Levy, we are also lucky to have immortalized all the magical moments experienced there.
Advice from the newlyweds
"This advice is certainly the most given by couples who are already married, but it seems to us more than essential: ENJOY IT ! Enjoy your day, your evening, your brunch but also the whole period of the organization. The big day goes by too quickly but fortunately the memories are created from the marriage proposal. »
