Before setting off to crisscross the roads of France for the beautiful 2012 season, MiY, the idea of an inspiration shoot had been running through my head for several months… Because all these inspirations bubbling up on Madame C's blog sometimes need to take shape and express themselves.
And since Love etc., I admit that I really missed decorating shopping and small homemade DIY projects!
As I mentioned in a brief preview, the idea of a gold and glitter shoot was close to my heart. To divert this sophisticated color and create unexpected associations. While remaining resolutely chic and French, of course!
This is at Toulouse, in my little garden, that the project took shape. Surrounded by a fine team of talents, ideas flowed, were refined and then decided. The scene was set. To bring it to life, I asked the lovely Sophie, a reader of the blog, to improvise as a model for a day. Without really knowing what awaited her, she was immediately up for it! And Vincent, Mr. fiancé, was also one of us. They will both say yes on July 6th.
All the elements were there to create the magic of the moment: gourmet pastries, delicate jewelry, poetic flowers, pretty decorative details, enthusiastic photographers... Yes, but the dress? Come what may, we'll improvise! 1 week before the photoshoot: unexpected surprise, Marjorie d'Confidential Workshop has joined the dream team. Living in Bordeaux, this inspired designer has given us the immense pleasure of coming to us with her precious wedding dresses. Yeeeeepa!!!
They're predicting rain??? Not even scared! We have a plan B just in case.
Fully pumped up, we met up on April 27th at my place. Despite the gray weather, we shared a delightful moment together where everyone was able to express their talent freely. In this setting, Sophie and Vincent radiated good humor and complicity. At every moment, I was ecstatic in front of so much freshness and delicacy…
