Natives of Camargue and owners of the Jacques Bon Manade Painted Farmhouse, Clémence and Frédéric naturally wanted to organize their wedding on their land. A simple and elegant wedding bathed in the Mediterranean autumn sun.

The initial meeting
"We are both natives of the same region, the Camargue, and we have both been involved in bullfighting since childhood.
It was through this shared passion for horses and bulls that we met at a bullfighting event through mutual friends.

Wedding planning
“The proposal happened in 2021, we were supposed to get married in 2022 and then we were lucky enough to welcome a second little boy that year, which made us postpone the wedding. That doesn’t mean we used that time to prepare… We really started planning four months before the wedding.”

"We wanted something simple and beautiful, in shades of white. We gave carte blanche to our Floral/Wedding Designer, Sebastian the Florist.
We knew his work and his style since we are used to working with him during weddings organized at the estate. We had total confidence in him and we did well. He also knows us well and really knew how to create a magnificent atmosphere.

"Our arrival at the secular ceremony (we had chosen to arrive together), our exchange of vows, the ceremony organized by our witnesses and the speeches of our loved ones, and the discovery of the room.

“Everything. When we talked about it after the wedding we asked ourselves what we could have done differently, and in fact…nothing. If we had to do it all over again we would do it exactly the same way.”

Advice from the newlyweds
- The choice of location is very important. It was obvious to us but it already plays a big part in the organisation and general atmosphere of a wedding.
- DJ's Choice is also not to be neglected.
Get to know your vendors before hiring them and if you don't have a Wedding Planner, get involved with them to keep control.
