Nancy: I wanted a two-piece set, with long sleeves on top and a fitted, elegant skirt on the bottom. It was my own interpretation of the lehenga, a traditional two-piece outfit worn for weddings and other special occasions in Indian culture. I discovered the designer, The Law, on the website of Kinfolk BrideMy tops were both made of the same fabric, a textured, dreamy material, a novelty piece. The skirt fit like a second skin. I also wore a sheer The Law jacket to layer over my sleeveless top, which felt incredibly comfortable. Working with Kinfolk and The Law was a fantastic experience; I love that the dress was made locally in Center City Philadelphia. I bought the Dior ballet flats on a trip to Paris a few months before the wedding for our tasting. The pattern was called “Paris,” and I thought they were a perfect fit. I found the feather and beaded handbag at Anthropologie in Philadelphia, and it felt just the right amount of “too much.”

Mitesh: Few feelings are more pleasurable than a perfectly tailored suit. Vanessa de Commonwealth Proper guided me through all the options to realize my vision. I wanted something classic and timeless, but with a twist. They work closely with a tattoo artist to create custom linings inside the suit. When I saw the traditional American style of the tattoo artist's work, it reminded me of Nancy's tattoos, and I knew it was perfect. My cufflinks were a gift from Nancy, for our wedding in Philadelphia, at our home, a month before Paris. The watch is an IWC Portugieser Perpetual Calendar. Its understated elegance matched my outfit and style perfectly. Nancy also loves moon phases.
