Their meeting
“When we first met Patrick, I was still at university and he was already working in his first job. As part of my studies, I participated in a workshop, which was organized by Patrick’s company. Nice coincidence, he was the instructor of my group. From the beginning, I fell under his charm and his eloquence. I secretly admired him (which he had noticed). He offered me his help during the workshop and afterwards during the evening, we talked for hours.
We took our time but from the start I knew he was special. His intelligence, dedication and humor definitely won me over."

The marriage proposal in Copenhagen
"We had planned a weekend in Copenhagen, but Patrick was still very busy with his work so we weren't sure if we would be able to leave. Hence my joy when we finally found ourselves on the plane, finally a relaxing weekend just for the two of us.
The weekend was full of surprises. Patrick had booked a room in my favorite hotel. On Saturday night, he had booked a table in a gourmet restaurant, what an experience!
On returning from the restaurant, Patrick had everything prepared. It was like a dream. I just remember him giving me the engagement ring and the smile on his face when he proposed to me."

Wedding in the Luberon at the Bastide de Gordes
"Every year we spend our holidays in the south of France, where Patrick's parents have a house in Cannes. For us, from the start the south was obvious. We organized a road trip to discover different sites during our vacation. We visited Champagne, Paris, Burgundy and finally Provence.
One day we decided to visit Gordes to enjoy the view of the Luberon. It was a nice coincidence that our lunch reservation was on the terrace of the Bastide de Gordes. We started to imagine our wedding in order to enjoy the soothing view of the Luberon. We then visited the whole estate, we were completely charmed. Our choice was made.
Wedding planning
Living in Munich with very busy schedules, we quickly concluded that we could not plan our wedding alone. Stephanie from WEP in Provence is based in the Luberon, she was a great help. We delegated the entire organization to her, we were able to count on her to control everything. This allowed us to focus on the important decisions and dedicate our energy to the little things that made our day unforgettable.
Thanks to Stephanie, we fully enjoyed our wedding without worrying about the details."

Wedding decoration
"Since the country house naturally has a breathtaking view, we opted for a subtle blend of elegance and modernity, sprinkled with a hint of tradition. We wanted to respect the existing atmosphere. For the flowers, we chose a white and pale pink palette, combined with foliage. Not forgetting, lavender, the common thread of our decoration made in Provence.
The terraced terrace of the Gordes country house directed us to a long and unique table. This spot was incredible and this table allowed our guests to interact with each other in a more convivial way.

The wedding budget
"Since we work in finance, Excel spreadsheet was our favorite tool, which allowed us to optimize a realistic scenario with our budget. Towards the end of the preparations, we left the numbers aside a bit, to let ourselves be guided by our gut feeling.
Without a doubt, and this was confirmed by our guests, the presence of our singer James Copley from Las Vegas Wedding was our best investment.

Your most beautiful memory
“It’s hard to choose just one memory, as our wedding was full of unforgettable moments that we will cherish forever. But if we had to choose one or two, I would say the moment of the exchange of vows in the church when our friend Anna sang our favorite song before walking down the aisle as "husband and wife."
The most moving moment was Patrick's speech during dinner, where he chose the most beautiful words to describe our relationship and what he loves most about me."
