Destination wedding in Italy: the elegance of an Italian yes
Under the golden Italian sun, Prescilla & Lucas chose to celebrate their love surrounded by their loved ones, in a timeless setting that reflects their personality. Their story began in Basel, during a colorful street parade, continued in Bali with an intimate marriage proposal in the heart of the jungle, and finally blossomed in this small Italian village they cherish so much.
Between family heritage, passion for Italy and desire for authenticity, they imagined a three-day wedding where every detail tells something about them: the elegant simplicity of silk, the vintage atmosphere, the notes of olive and gold, and the warmth of a party extended until sunrise.
A wedding in their image : vibrant, sincere and generous, which unites two cultures and two hearts in an atmosphere of eternal dolce vita.

The initial meeting
Prescilla: We met through my cousin, during the Basel Street Parade. I saw him and I wanted him. It took time, because we were both coming out of long relationships. Two years after we met, we finally embarked on this adventure together.
The marriage proposal
In Bali, August 2022. In our bamboo hut, in the middle of the jungle, one summer evening. It's a country we'll always hold dear to our hearts.
Wedding in Italy
We wanted something special, a timeless place, and above all, close to Lucas's family in Italy. We dream of having a second home in this Italian village. We are in love with Italy.

Wedding planning
We were lucky enough to find our wedding planner very quickly. We had to do our preparations remotely; it was a year full of emotions and twists and turns. But it was easier than we imagined.
Wedding decoration
We got married in Italy, so it was only natural that the theme would be Italy. But we were imagining something "vintage," hence the precise choice of the location. An old-fashioned Italy, let's say: the italicized menus surrounded by a cream satin ribbon, olive green, touches of gold, off-white, lace, lots of baby's breath, which is one of my favorite flowers, and of course, white roses.

The bride and groom's outfits
Simple but effective, which gives this modern effect and at the same time the “vintage” side that goes with the place. So I opted for silk.
Their most moving memory
Everything was truly memorable! On Friday, for the pre-party, there was a mix of pizza, pool party and "white party". On the big day, everything was perfect: the preparations, the ceremony, the meal, the entertainment, the saxophonist, the atmosphere, the party... and it ended in a pool party until 9 a.m.! Then, the next day, we all got together to relax after this perfect weekend!
Their best choice in wedding planning
The pool! With this 40°C heat, we enjoyed it all weekend long, day and night. It was very pleasant.
But more seriously, I'd say the best decision was to get married outside, under a veiled structure with magnificent lighting. We had a view of the stars, the illuminated castle, and the atmosphere was enhanced by the saxophonist and the DJ.
Advice from the newlyweds
De always listen to yourself, no don't go too fast, really take time to organize things, to talk together because marriage is for two, etc. when you see the result, being satisfied as a couple is even better. Don't be afraid to make this day a unique day.
