Modern wedding at Domaine de Blanche Fleur – Morgane & Antoine
CONTENTS
Modern wedding at Domaine de Blanche Fleur
Provençal elegance & obvious love
Some stories don't seek to be told—they impose themselves, with the quiet gentleness of truths that transcend time. Morgane and Antoine are among them. A childhood encounter, somewhere between two cultures and a thousand horizons, a bond woven over the years, almost instinctive, almost unbreakable. Then, naturally, the idea of marriage arises, without fanfare, like a logical continuation of a story already deeply rooted.
To celebrate this promise, they chose Provence and the sun-drenched elegance of Domaine de Blanche Fleur. A place where the charm of an authentic country house meets a contemporary aesthetic, where every detail seems suspended between refinement and the art of living. For three days, their loved ones gathered there to share much more than a wedding: an experience, an art of hospitality, a vision.
Conceived as a chic and welcoming interlude, their celebration unfolds in a subtle palette of luminous whites, deep greens, and touches of burgundy. Airy drapes, sculptural floral arrangements, sun-drenched fruits—here, the staging never seeks to overdo it, but rather to tell a story with precision.
Through Melissa Orfila's delicate images, each moment reveals a rare harmony, supported by deliberate choices, masterful organization, and that extra touch of soul that transforms a wedding into an unforgettable memory.
Morgane and Antoine open the doors to their story for us…
The initial meeting
We met in a Middle Eastern country in 2009, where we both lived as children aged 11 and 12. Morgane had just arrived in the country where Antoine had already been living for a year.
We immediately felt comfortable with each other. Our childlike sense of humor has always been a part of us, and we still laugh about it today. We're also connected by travel, which is actually how we met.
The moment they knew they had found the right person
It's still inexplicable…
The marriage proposal
How did the application process go?
In the early morning of the 1st of the new year 2024er In January, after a night of heavy drinking, we exchanged rings.
Was it a surprise?
No, we had been talking about it for a few years already. The new year seemed like the perfect time to get engaged.
What were your feelings at that moment?
A little excitement, and a lot of relief.
Any funny or touching anecdotes related to the request?
After the request, we collapsed from exhaustion…
The wedding venue in Provence
Of the 3 places we visited, this one ticked the most boxes in our criteria: number of beds for our guests, Provençal charm, professionalism of the on-site teams, alternatives depending on the weather, …
With each new visit, we compared, using Blanche Fleur as a reference. That's when we knew it was the right one.
What appealed to them the most
The reception room, and the alliance between the authentic Provençal house and modern comfort.
What their guests thought of it
They found the place to be exceptionally elegant and incredibly charming. The swimming pool was a real bonus for them.
Wedding planning
Wedding preparations in Provence
In July 2024, during the venue search. It was also our first in-person meeting with our wedding planner, Cecilia. Camhi from L & J wedding planner.
Wedding proceedings
The entire wedding (except for the civil ceremony) took place on the estate. We had specifically planned to celebrate over three days to make the most of the venue.
The challenges of this organization in Provence
The first major step was the venue. The choice of main service providers was subsequently guided by a pre-selection (by field).
The biggest challenge was finding a caterer who met our "gourmet" expectations, including a vegetarian menu. We also wanted the food to be local, but also reflect our life journey (abroad).
Wedding Decor & Atmosphere
The wedding atmosphere
We wanted to create a friendly, yet chic, warm and romantic atmosphere.
Wedding colors
Ivory/Off-white, Deep burgundy, Forest green, Brown/Caramel, Sage green.
Wedding stationery
Organic, minimalist shapes, with references to the decor of the place.
Wedding flowers
Floating white drapes to give an impression of lightness (including ceremony venue), tall floral arrangements, fruits (pomegranates, grapes), flowers (hydrangeas of different colors, burgundy Anthuriums, black Callas).
DIY
No, apart from the arrangement of the miniature olive oil bottles. A big thank you to our decorator.
The bride and groom's favorite décor
The ceremony venue, with the impression of grandeur and lightness brought by large sheets between the trees.
The choice of outfits
Inspiration
Lots of online research for inspiration to find the perfect style and atmosphere. Once at the store, the dress was chosen quite quickly (but there were many, many fittings).
For the suit, first we had to choose the right fabric with the right color (forest green), and finally the cut.
What guided their choice
Comfort was the main point, whether for the dress or the suit.
The suit also needed to be wearable for other occasions.
An anecdote
My dress was created from scratch, so every fitting was a new experience. My mother and bridesmaids were present at every appointment — a truly special moment of sharing.
And the designer transformed my mother's wedding dress into an after-party dress. Magical.
Bridal accessories
The high heels were chosen to match the suit.
Wedding providers
Each vendor was selected for their respect for our vision of our wedding. Our vision became a shared objective that each professional worked towards perfectly, and with great care.
What they particularly appreciated
Knowing how to listen and offer (without imposing) practical solutions for each element of the wedding. For example, the caterer offered us a concrete solution for the cake (a giant pavlova) because we didn't want a tiered cake.
The most moving memory
The first look before the ceremony, away from prying eyes.
Unforgettable moment
The speeches given by our respective parents during dinner.
Their best choice in wedding planning
Hiring Cecilia as Wedding Planner made a big difference, both for logistical support and for the proposal of all the service providers in her directory, which she knows how to adapt according to the specifications.
What if I had to do it again?
With a few minor exceptions, yes!

Advice from the newlyweds
Things they should know before starting
The final "true price", in particular the acceleration of spending as the wedding approaches.
Their best advice for experiencing the preparations calmly
Surround yourself with the right people, and start planning at least 1 year in advance.
