Nestled in an exceptional chalet in the heart of the Alps, this editorial shoot imagined by Pauline of Botanical Bazaar, as part of its floral workshop Botanical Immersion, immerses us in a world that is both warm and sophisticated. Raw wood walls, exposed stone, and natural light filtering through a majestic glass roof create the setting for a wedding where every detail echoes the feeling of love.
Conceived as an ode to the reflections of emotions, this production called reflection of love reveals the beauty of a timeless place and the unique vision of a team of enthusiasts.
The Ferme du Passieu in the Alps
With its solid wood walls and exposed stone, this cathedral frame aligned with a grandiose bay window, this place evoked for us the rustic charm of traditional Alpine chalets, taking on its full meaning for a wedding in the Alps, while offering a modern and refined editorial line.
The shooting team
For this editorial, we brought together a team of service providers specially selected for their talents. The artistic direction was entirely conceived by Pauline de Botanical Bazaar as part of the second edition of its floral workshop Botanical Immersion and in a final context of practical application by the participants.
She was accompanied by Pauline de Plum Wedding for the entire organization and design part.
The team's work was highlighted by the photography duo Marie and Raphaël de Dall'k.
Amélie Gouttenoire was able to transcribe into the bride's beauty looks an unparalleled elegance and modernity, Amélie, creator of Maelie House she imagined and created from scratch this structural dress that we love, Frédéric from Blandin Delloye Annecy was able to design the sober, black, chic and elegant tuxedo that we wanted, finally Marion de Koklyqo she created custom stationery with retro inspiration.
The artistic direction
Welcome to the captivating world of “Reflection of Love.”
A captivating editorial where love is reflected in every detail. Set in a sumptuous chalet, a true gem nestled in the heart of the mountains, the story of Niels and Pippa transports us to a world where romance and elegance collide in a ballet of light.
In this idyllic setting, mirrors become the protagonists of this modern love story. We wanted to highlight them in order to create aesthetic visual compositions, but also to capture and reflect this light, in order to create a real play of reflections that could enchant and highlight the natural beauty of the place and spaces.
The couple progresses step by step through their day in this chalet, boasting authentic and discreet luxury. The idea was to give them a special experience in this natural setting, for a few days away from it all. Imagine welcoming your guests in such an environment, and forgetting everything for a few moments, to fully celebrate your love!
We begin the day with the preparations in the large main room which allows light and conviviality to enter thanks to its large spaces. Then the ceremony takes place outside, wanting to blend it into the nature which floods the space, so we imagined it on a forecourt then giving way to the void and a breathtaking view. The arrival of the guests is highlighted by signage in mirror coating which delicately leads to the final scene, that of the union of our two lovers under a modern & structural arch.
Finally, for dinner, we imagined a table that seemed to float in space, which is what we wanted to recreate with its surface covered in a sparkling mirror. The idea was to offer a feast for the senses, both in terms of flavors and textures: fresh crusty bread, fresh oysters waiting to be tasted with delight, elegant and modern tableware, good Champagne... each bite is then a toast to love. The chalet then seems to vibrate with a very special energy at the end of the evening. Luxury and conviviality met in a setting in the mountains!
