The initial meeting
Alexandra and Rémi met on the French Riviera in June 2009. Alexandra had come from Canada on holiday with her friends, before starting her job in London.

The marriage proposal
In December 2016, during a walk in the forest in the middle of the Canadian winter, very close to where Alexandra grew up in Toronto, Rémi almost dropped the ring in the snow when he took off his gloves to propose!
