Simple wedding at the Factory – Perrine + Yannick
CONTENTS
The beautiful story began on a few HTML pages. That was 3 years ago. Perrine and Yannick take us today to their beautiful sunny day. It was October 13th in Beaujolais. They chose the Factory, a former renovated factory to celebrate their union.
With the beautiful images of Lab No. 3, they tell us…
The initial meeting
“It happened 3 years ago thanks to the magic of the internet!”

The marriage proposal
“On my birthday, Yannick surprised me by booking a super chic restaurant, in the heart of Paris. When dessert was served, he gave me my gift, which was the size of a book. I opened the package…a little disappointed! I must admit that secretly (well, not so much, right, my witnesses?) I was hoping that the proposal would happen that day…
My disappointment was very short-lived. The book was titled: "Oh yes, we're getting married!"... While I was thinking about the meaning of this title, I looked up and Yannick was on one knee and holding out a magnificent engagement ring with a blue topaz. He tried to make a declaration to me but I didn't really listen to him because I wanted to say YES! The restaurant then offered us each a glass of champagne to help us recover from our emotions.
I received my birthday present a little later that evening: a hair dryer!

Simple wedding at the Factory, a factory rehabilitated
"We were looking for a place that was big enough and had a section for the children, and a gîte on site to accommodate our families and friends. I wanted an unusual place (an old factory converted into a reception room) that reflected us because we are passionate about contemporary decoration.
Yannick wanted a more classic castle-type place. Through visits and speeches, I managed to convince him by transforming the negative points (when we visited the construction site was still in progress and we really had to be able to project ourselves) into positive points (a big discount was offered in the event of a decision before the end of the work). We visited several times with outside eyes and decided to get started before following very closely, via Facebook, the progress of the work.
The owners, who are adorable, did an incredible job of transforming the place while preserving its history! We were more than pleasantly delighted to discover only a few days before the wedding the final result, which lived up to our expectations. The Factory charmed our guests, thank you again! »

Wedding planning
"We managed this ourselves, starting 1 year and a few months ahead of schedule, supported by our parents and my sister on site. We thank them very much for their invaluable help and very wise advice.
The closer the date got, the bigger the to-do list became. But, thanks to a little organization and anticipation, we avoided any major moments of tension!
Wedding decoration
“Even before the marriage proposal, I had thought about it… That’s how much I was waiting for the proposal. I wanted wax on the tables to recall Yannick’s Cameroonian origins and for the pep color. We didn’t choose a wedding theme but only colors: orange and navy blue, declined in the wax,
Otherwise, Pinterest is an inexhaustible source of inspiration for finding ideas: recycled glass jars domed in copper (industrial variation of orange), door as decoration for the photobooth… The place being atypical and already very well decorated, we did not need to do much. In addition, the place provides some decorative elements left by the former bride and groom. This perfectly completed what we had planned. Thanks again! »

Your best memory
Every 2 : “the creation of 200 soaps, gifts for guests with my husband over many Sundays. A real couple’s project that made us want to create an activity together… one day perhaps!”
Perrine : "the arrival in the Church which allows us to see all the people who came for us. Some came from very far away: Cameroon, Australia... I couldn't help but have tears in my eyes."
Yannick : "The beautiful surprise prepared by our witnesses, a very well edited video in which family and friends mentioned their different wishes/wishes for after the wedding. It was very moving for us. We will never get tired of watching it."

Your advice
- Anticipate! Involve the future groom in the different choices, even if he thinks that marriage is a woman's business... Finally, he gets into the game. And once that's the case, delegate tasks that he likes.
- Knowing how to delegate tasks on D-Day means having clearly explained the organization of D-Day to those close to you.
