Vintage wedding at Château le Brossay

There are a thousand ways to celebrate love. By thought, attention, words. Love sweeps everything before it. It gives wings to whoever receives it. Like a providential gift, love cannot be measured. It transcends being and having. To be loved and to give in return is also to let go. To abandon oneself to the other without thinking about tomorrow.

Here we celebrate Love every day. With your beautiful days that transport us each time in a whirlwind of emotions. But today for all the valentines, I wanted to share an atmosphere that has no age. A wedding inspiration of yesteryear drawn in Britain in the refined setting of Brossay Castle.

Ingrid Thierry, the instigator of this shooting gives us her inspirations and her images…

The Memorial

"The Brossay is a magnificent castle, located in the heart of Brittany in a green setting. It is its character, its old tapestries and its charm that made us want to create there. A unique atmosphere emerges from it, the charm of the Renaissance and its old furniture in a setting of absolute serenity. It was the ideal place to give birth to our project.

The shooting team

"We were keen to organize this shoot in a historical setting that would allow us to flirt with a very pictorial, enveloping style of images, while bringing a touch of modernity. Each service provider was then called upon to bring something unique that carefully linked to the project.

The wedding dress was the central element of the shoot. We wanted a vintage look, champagne-colored with an elegant cut. The team of Paviot Creator was able to offer us a veil and earrings highlighting the vintage and poetic inspiration while remaining sober and timeless elegance.

We proposed two bouquets for our bride: a voluminous, lively and textured one, and another smaller one, ideal for bridesmaids for example.

The invitation suite and the menus are intended to be textured and poetic. A sensory wave emerges from them, complementing the table design. The greeting booklets, delicately edged with a silk satin ribbon, are delicate and transport us.

The scenography

"The floral scenography brings modernity and audacity to the great hall of the castle dressed in woodwork and tapestries. A range of red and burgundy flowers decorates the center of the table around old candlesticks and bunches of fresh fruit.

We set our table in the French style with refined silverware.

Professional advice for future brides and grooms

Dear future bride and groom,

Your wedding is a unique day that should above all reflect you.

Every detail counts and will be highlighted by your service providers. In order to ensure a timeless wedding, in your image, it may be advisable not to flirt too much with current trends that you risk getting tired of, but to take inspiration from what is truly dear to you!

If you have the possibility, do not overlook a wedding planner, this person will be of great help to you in coordinating each technical element, decoration, service providers and will relieve you of a certain stress!

Have fun, enjoy your loved ones and guests as much as possible and choose a photographer/videographer who will be able to naturally capture this crazy day.
