15 French wedding photographers to book without hesitation
CONTENTS
When I started this blog in 2007, wedding photography was outdated, no longer really adapted to the expectations of future brides and grooms in the spirit of the times. It must be said that in photography, weddings were a bit of the poor relation of their category. The one we hide for fear of being labeled as a Sunday photographer.
It was at this time that I discovered Max Wanger, a revelation. And then there was Caroline Vidal, one of the first lifestyle photographers I connected with. At that moment, I decided to shake things up on my own scale and to highlight these new kinds of talents. Not to say " This is beautiful, this is ugly. » Just to show another style and get out of the archi-traditional framework.
12 years later, I am amazed by the level of image professionals in France and Europe. They no longer have anything to envy their American counterparts. And you, future bride and groom, have an infinite choice of super talents. This is an incredible opportunity because just a few years ago, you had to book your photographer at the same time as your reception venue to secure the services of one of them. The downside is that too much choice kills choice. It's not easy to find your way among this flourishing offer.
I do not claim to present you a top of photographers in France because already, I would be incapable of making this choice and then it seems so exclusive to me, it is not in my temperament. On the other hand, I am able to present you photographers who in my eyes are professionals with ethical values. (hear "little love hearts", but it sounds less serious). Professionals whose world I admire. And as you know, I am far from being mono-style so I offer you this first selection (of a long series!) of wedding photographers because each of these worlds speaks to my heart. Not because it resonates with a pseudo trend. Fashions will pass, the images of your wedding will be eternal. It's up to you to choose with your heart...
