In the beautiful light of Breton beaches, Anne-Laure and Come invite us into their little bubble of happiness. Complicit love, simple and obvious. I will never tire of admiring love and talking about it here.
With the beautiful images ofAmandine Ropars, Anne-Laure tells us more…
The initial meeting
“We met in Saint-Jacut-de-la-Mer, Brittany, one evening in August 2009. It was on the terrace of Saint-Awawa, a small village bar/restaurant, very lively during the summer. The season was coming to an end and I had come from Saint-Brieuc with friends to visit one of us, who had been watching the holidaymakers on the Rougeret beach all summer as a lifeguard. Côme, originally from the Paris region, had spent all his holidays in Saint-Jacut since he was little. Our two groups of friends mixed, and after a few drinks, we decided to end the evening together at the lifeguard station.
That's where it all started. But just one night! It was only a year later, same day, same time, same bar, that we really got into the adventure. Him in Paris, me in Montpellier for our studies, not even scared (or just a little).

The marriage proposal
“It was in New York, last summer. We were celebrating our 7th anniversary on a rooftop overlooking Manhattan. After a hamburger (eating local is important), a nice proposal, simple, but perfect.
For the record, Côme had hidden the ring in his sunglasses case as soon as we arrived in New York, carefully stored in the hotel safe. I thought it was a good idea, and I also stored my case (exactly the same one) in the safe. Cold sweat for Côme when, not knowing which of the two cases was mine, I opened a case at random. Luckily it was the right one! Suspense intact until the evening.

This photoshoot
"For the engagement session, we chose to take Amandine to places that are dear to us, and symbolic. Côme is very attached to Saint-Jacut, the village of his childhood, and the Rougeret beach like the Saint-Awawa are high places in our history. The Saint-Awawa closed a few years ago to our great sadness, but we discovered during the session that it was reopening this summer for a chapter 2! A sign? Surely!"
Wedding Inspirations
"We want something simple, in harmony with our Brittany, the sea, and nature. White, blue, hydrangeas :)."

This year of preparations
“A very, very intense year! Much more than we thought, to be very honest.”
An advice
“Don’t hesitate to organize an engagement party with family and friends! It was a real boost to see everyone so happy for us, and it’s a chance for the guests to meet each other before the big day. A very happy moment!”
