Collective Ribbon
CONTENTS
Collective Ribbon, The most creative wedding gang on the South West Coast has struck again. For this 2019 season, the dream team takes us into its recreational world with minimalist accents. A sunny atmosphere with variations of terracotta and mustard yellow.
With the beautiful images of An Lalemant et Dolly, the team tells us more…
Collective Ribbon, its history
“We founded a small marriage brotherhood in the South West called Ruban Collectif, bringing together diverse talents to meet the needs of future brides and grooms.
We like to meet up, chat and work together regularly. Every year, we organize a shooting to present the new collections of the members of our collective and thus inspire our customers in their choices. This year, we worked around terracotta and mustard shades, in a minimal place while maintaining a warm spirit.
Dolly's team joined us to film the images of this day."

Meeting in Guéthary in the Basque Country
"We wanted something neutral, white, big! We were lucky enough to have access to a loft facing the sea, above Guéthary beach."
Tell us about your inspirations for this season…
“Lise imagined a stationery collection called Laguna Beach around terracotta, nude and mustard shades, which seduced us all, this was the common thread of this shooting.
Each member of the collective was responsible for their part: Céline worked on compositions based on dried flowers, Eglantine imagined a custom hairstyle and accessories, An looked for the model & the location, and Jeanne & Victoire were in charge of the set design.

Collective Ribbon, a creative touch…
“We wanted to keep a very minimal spirit for this shoot and avoid too much decoration. The choice of location was therefore essential.
Lise designed the entire signage section with Jeanne and Victoire, Céline created several floral arrangements for the walls and the table, and Jeanne & Victoire took care of the tableware and furniture.

Expert advice from Ruban Collectif
- “Avoid trying to put it everywhere! It is better to find the good idea(s) that catch on rather than multiplying proposals and running the risk of them falling through the cracks.
- Always think bigger ! And yes, we can tell ourselves that making 30 pompoms is already huge, but once on site, everything seems smaller and we realize that we would have had to make double the number to achieve the desired effect!
- Be realistic ! Doing it yourself is super cool, but be careful not to embark on a project that is too tedious and that you will not be able to complete: draw up a schedule before the big day and always allow more time.
Remember that it is not always cheaper to buy stocks of candlesticks at a flea market, renting can have its good points and good news, more and more online stores offer it.
