Pauline and Alex got married last summer in Burgundy. For these lovers of wide open spaces and travel, they wanted, before the big day, to return to where it all began. A wild love session at golden hour, on the heights of Dijon.

Their meeting in Burgundy
“It all started in Burgundy at high school. Alex was older than me. I watched him but he intimidated me so I could never tell him that I was under his spell. We lost touch for a few years. Time passed, and we found each other again thanks to 2.0. A message for my birthday and everything changed. The feelings of the past turned into the love of the present.
After only two months of dating, I announced to him that I was going to Finland for six months as part of my studies. A great ordeal for both of us, which in the end strengthened our love for each other. Love with a capital A.
And then July 14, 2017 came along.
After a day of shopping and spa with my best friend Jeanne (who was in cahoots with Alex), I had to go to the heights of Dijon, where we had our first romantic walk. A teepee was waiting for me with candles everywhere. The setting sun completed this magnificent decor. And that's when Alex proposed to me, on one knee. I didn't believe it. It was so magical and unforgettable.
Five years have passed and we got married this summer.”

“His calm which allows me to relax, his constant creativity, his desire to escape and above all his Wild side.”

“Seeing her laugh at my jokes (not always funny), her natural sweet smell, her determination to succeed in projects and her beauty (but especially her cheekbones).”
Life as a couple
"Our similar temperaments are the strength of our couple. But that doesn't prevent us from having arguments. What would a couple be without arguments? But what we prefer even more: to reconcile and love each other even more."

A love session in Burgundy
“We have a lot of common passions. Our worlds merge and blend together. Alex is overflowing with creativity and is passionate about photography and cinema. Pauline is the dreamy girl who loves hats and boots. She also likes to wander around flea markets to find little gems to put in our little home. We naturally took our photos for our engagement session where the marriage proposal took place. We had already spotted Anaïs' work on social media. And then when we met, the feeling was there straight away. It's like we've known each other for a long time.
Anaïs was able to capture our world and our desires. We wanted something that reflected us, simplicity, minimalism and wildness.

Their plans as a couple
"After two intense years between wedding preparations and buying/renovating an apartment, our next projects will be: travel, travel, travel. We want to make the most of it and discover the world. In April we are going to Los Angeles for a road trip, with a stop at the Coachella festival, and we will end in Hawaii to recharge our batteries. We also want to discover Japan, Chile, Louisiana and many other places."
