This summer I'm my cousin's maid of honor and the wedding theme will be 30s. I'm considering a Charleston style outfit with a flower hair tie, but honestly I'm really lacking in ideas. The girls' wedding outfits are gorgeous but I'm at least 15 years older. :-(

@parfumdefleurs: The problem with such a strong theme is finding an outfit that you can wear again later. Depending on your body type, I might opt for a nice tuxedo, a silk crepe shirt and a beautiful necklace. It can be very elegant and with pretty accessories, you'll be in the spirit without feeling like you're dressing up. And it seems less tortuous to me than finding a Charleston-style dress :D
