How did the initiative for this shooting come about? 

Anne de Lafforest wanted to highlight three new creations for its spring brides. A strapless dress made in a sublime French jacquard, and its coat with xxl sleeves matching, and a sheath dress in Calais lace, with a high neck and featuring a stunning open back. 

These creations of absolute, timeless elegance are aimed at modern brides who love the codes of classic chic and beautiful, strong pieces.

The groom was also dressed by The Apiéceur, With a black tuxedo and a bow tie, a style that is very popular across the Atlantic but which is gradually arriving in France, with chic and classic American inspirations or destination weddings in Europe, which are increasingly making our brides and grooms dream.

Yann Cute He immediately suggested shooting entirely on film. He wanted to capture every grain, every detail with natural light, a depth and delicacy that only film can bring out. He has an eye for spotting angles and architectural settings, the interplay of lines and light, the emotions of his subjects, and their expressions. He knows how to capture everyday moments, but also how to direct his models, for a fashion-forward look that beautifully enhances the bride and groom.

The Royal Abbey of Fontevraud

To translate this couture atmosphere, we needed a setting that would enhance our models and their outfits, and convey timelessness and eternity.  

I immediately thought of theRoyal Abbey of Fontevraud, which is one of the places I work with in the Loire Valley. This thousand-year-old place is magical, with its white Tuffeaux stone, its slates, and its different architectures.

Its cloisters, gardens, abbey church, Michelin-starred restaurant, bars, hotel and modern art museum are spread over 13 hectares and offer refined services, in the heart of a charming little village, just 2 hours by train from Paris. 

The starred and committed chef, Thibaut ruggeri[Name of chef], which offers catering services for private events, has agreed to create a gourmet menu for this editorial. Its menu changes according to the lunar cycle and features produce from the Abbey's kitchen garden and local producers.

Timeless Romance

I imagined a timeless and modern decor, with notes of black and white, of gray. 

One of the starting points being the intertwined Kartell seats, whose sinuous and dynamic lines recall the avant-garde stationery of Plum & Sybille. 

This graphic style contrasts with the straight lines of the architecture and echoes the Roman arches of the place.

I made the selection of table linen and tableware at Home Options.

To wake it all up, a few golden touches with XXL candlesticks to rival the majestic heights of the place, and sublime floral creations by Marie, fromAtelier Aimer who had carte blanche. 

The editorial also illustrates the spring season and Marie was able to translate into her floral design the movement, the life and the delicacy, the fragility, on notes of white, coffee, pale pink and yellow, a spring palette, with local flowers.

A love at first sight encounter. She has strong values ​​that we share. 

Luxury is not abundance But it's truly about quality, creativity, detail, and just the right amount of restraint in the decor. The space is vast, and the idea isn't to compete in terms of the quantity of flowers, but to adapt to the architecture and the light of the place.

Sandy Cluzaud captured the movement, emotion and tenderness of our lovers played to perfection by our professional models. She played with architecture, light and gave a suave and intimate tempo to this teaser. 

The video gives an indelible taste to memories, an emotion, a thrill, that we watch tirelessly after our wedding. It is for me a position that should never be neglected. We felt it was essential to include a videographer, who should become a must-have for any wedding.

Styling

Laurie, from The Pretty Deer, naturally beautified our bride, with fresh tones, to enhance her eyes and her light-toned skin. She created 2 hairstyles adapted to Anne's outfits: a falsely neglected attachment for the natural look and a more conventional bun to translate this timeless style of impeccable elegance, à la Hepburn. 

Anita Berisha's earrings, selected at Spring Wedding by Anne de Lafforest were thus perfectly highlighted, XXL earrings with floral design and cultured pearls, the very illustration of spring. 

To refine the stylistic details, Pierre de Very diamond proposed an engagement ring, with pure lines to highlight a central diamond of 0,80 carats, cushion cut, surrounded by 4 small princess cut diamonds. A strong jewelry creation, for bold and modern brides. The jewelry is made entirely by hand, from recycled white gold.
