Rendezvous in Iceland – Marion and Maxime

They dreamed of discovering the Nordic countries. To celebrate their 8 years of love, Marion took Maxime for a surprise trip to Iceland. The perfect opportunity to capture the beautiful images of their love before their wedding.

“Maxime and I met during our physiotherapy studies in 2009. It was love at first sight which led to a romantic relationship in March 2010.

The marriage proposal took place in our friend Steph's restaurant at "Petit Paris", the engagement ring was hidden in an egg as an appetizer. The restaurant had been privatized for the occasion, and we had the chef all to ourselves with a tailor-made meal.

In search of nature and magnificent landscapes, it was our dream to travel through the Nordic countries, so I chose Iceland and we couldn't find a place at home in Alsace that matched our wish. So I organized a surprise for Maxime for our 8th birthday and contacted Marie directly to find out if she was interested in this project. It was after 7 months of preparation that Maxime, Marie, Raphaël (who joined us along the way) and I left for a week of adventure.

Their next wedding

We wanted to find a touch of greenery for our wedding but this time in summer mode with our “tropical jungle” theme, the decoration is still being prepared. 

Our preparation lasted a year and a half and went by very quickly, we were well organized and had divided up the tasks. Thanks to our loved ones for being there. It is both tiring and exciting but always with the eagerness that the "D" day arrives quickly.

Their advice on organizing the wedding 

Take the time to choose the service providers carefully and if the choice is made, book them as soon as possible to be surrounded by the right people, those who will help you achieve the ideal wedding.
