I am often asked why I chose the profession of wedding planner. To this I answer that it was a dream and that I made it come true. That for the first time in my life and for two and a half years, I feel totally myself and free to express my sensitivity.
In our society, so-called "nice" people are often mistreated. I experienced this for several years and despite all my efforts and hard work, I never managed to find my place. I tried to be a good little soldier and blend in with the crowd. I almost lost my light. Today, I am only good humor and joy of life. I work twice as much as before but with so much pleasure. Nothing will make me go back...

This week, I was going back to school with Karine and Jean-Noël's beautiful day. And today is the big day! Between impatience and excitement, I admit I'm not stressed for a second. They are so in love and so beautiful. This wedding will be perfect!
Yesterday, Karine's dad moved me to tears. We were at the flower market and he told me how much he thought of me and the work we did together. At that moment, I received his compliments like a gift. A gift that only this joyful profession can offer me...
But I'm off! A beautiful day awaits me... ♥

I admit that between my "day" job and that of a ceremony officiant, there is a big difference: the infinite pleasure I get from it, the emotional rush, but above all the very warm compliments we receive, which come from the heart, without ulterior motive, as if we were benefiting from the overflowing love of these days!
When in my other job, it's more like "ah, you spent the weekend on it instead of enjoying your husband, oh well, okay"... Thanks are rare ;)

Your commitment and the passion you put into your job is beautiful to see!!
Then
Hi Clementine. A little sentence to start the day off right:
When you find a job you like, you will never have to work again in your life... :-)
Princess TC
I discovered your blog through a very dear friend and your article today leaves me speechless!
"In our society, "nice" people are taken for retarded knuckleheads. I experienced this for several years and despite all my efforts and hard work, I never managed to find my place. I tried to be a good little soldier and blend in with the crowd. I almost lost my nerves and energy." I could have written that! With exactly those words! But I don't have the courage to start. Maybe later... But it should be now! I admire your enthusiasm, your dynamism and your courage to have known how to say STOP one day and live your dream. I hope that one day I too will succeed.

Dear Clementine, it is often said that you reap what you sow… It is very true, and in your case it is happiness, so it is a fair return of things :)

Hello, beautiful Clementine,
you know that I have been following you for a year even if I make few comments
Your message moved me a lot, not only as a future bride but as a woman who, at the turning point of her life, looks kindly on people who touch the essential, just the happiness of being able to be oneself, the desire day after day to become better. Good humor, enthusiasm and dreams carried as a standard, well above venal concerns
Long live the nice ones, and the land of the Care Bears and thank you Clementine for taking us into your world.

Thank you for all your lovely comments <3
Karine and Jean-Noël's wedding was a wonderful day filled with laughter and sincere emotions. Another beautiful day lived at 100 miles an hour but so magical. I couldn't have dreamed of a better way to start this 2012 season! Looking forward to the rest :)

I find what you say in this article so true!!
We are really fulfilled doing a job that we love! For my part, I am a designer of ready-to-wear and custom-made clothes, I also make wedding dresses, and when a custom-made outfit is finished and we see the customer very happy with the result, it is really pleasant!!
Best wishes !!
Cynthia
