Museum Overview
I'm Charline, a passionate designer and founder of Charline Loisel, a socially conscious fashion house that places emotion at the heart of clothing. My journey, born from a chance encounter that became a vocation, has led me to specialize in two worlds close to my heart: creating modular and sustainable pieces, and transforming family heirlooms—true treasures steeped in history. Today, I create dresses that tell stories, connect people, and can be worn long after the wedding day, combining elegance, French craftsmanship, and respect for the environment.
Experience
I reinvent the wedding dress as a manifesto of style, elegance, and meaning. A graduate of the Chambre Syndicale, and having completed an apprenticeship at Jean-Paul Gaultier alongside a Meilleur Ouvrier de France (Best Craftswoman of France), I acquired exceptional expertise. This demanding experience forged my determination and allowed me to adapt the standards of haute couture to the challenges of sustainable craftsmanship. As the founder of an ethical and contemporary fashion house, I celebrate French savoir-faire through unique, sustainable, and bespoke creations. My dresses are designed to accompany the bride far beyond her wedding day. Each dress is conceived as a piece for life: natural, adaptable, and timeless. They transform and continue to exist in everyday life, memories, and precious moments. "My commitment was born from a frustration: I couldn't accept that a wedding dress, so rich in emotion, would only be worn once and then forgotten." "I wanted to create a House that offers the quality of artisanal tailoring within a responsible vision."
