June paper: Wedding stationery

I'm Axelle Compte, the hands and heart behind Papier June. I graduated in graphic design in France 20 years ago and have been pursuing my passion ever since. I was trained in branding and logo design, but I've always loved stationery and paper itself. I specialized in wedding stationery 10 years ago. My love of nature and plants led me to create my own cotton-based paper. It's environmentally friendly, acid-free, tree-free and dyed with natural pigments derived from rocks. As much as sustainability plays a very important role in my daily work, I value authenticity and trust. Although my customers come to me for my design experience and expertise, I firmly believe that an exceptional finished product is the result of a sincere connection and caring collaboration between me and my customers. That's how the magic happens. Based in Toronto, Canada, I offer my services worldwide.

Features

Inspired by nature, haute-couture, editorial photography and modern architecture, I tell my customers' stories through creative concepts and contemporary designs. Each piece of stationery is created with contrast and texture in mind, using mainly letterpress printing and embossing for the most tactile of experiences. My style is organic, sophisticated and minimalist.
