Ruben Photography
My name is Rémi, aka Ruben, the nickname I've kept since high school. I'm 40 and live in Lille with my family. My father, a passionate photographer, passed on to me his love of beautiful images and photographic technique. I've been practicing photography intensively since 2009, alongside my professional activity as a healthcare executive. But it was after my wedding in 2014 that things really clicked for me: meeting our photographer, the role she has played in our lives since that event, her commitment and her work, all made me want to do this wonderful job.
Features
I think of wedding photography as a story to be told. The reportage I propose is thus created from all the highlights of the day, but also from those little moments that make your wedding unlike any other. It's these little moments that I try to capture, to offer you a photo gallery that tells your story. I very rarely ask people to pose, preferring instead to put them in conditions that make them feel at ease so that I can photograph them as they are. As far as my photographic style is concerned, the way I take photos, as well as the way they are processed, is designed to resemble the look of film photography. Tints are softer and I deliberately add a harmonious grain that enhances the light. It's all this work that enables me to offer you photos that are soft, luminous and authentic.
