A meeting, a growing love and the arrival of 2 children. Anna and Damien dreamed of their wedding as a beautiful Italian summer party with a sea view. It was in Sicily and in the intimacy of 40 guests that they organized this trip from which they will keep a unique flavor.

The initial meeting
"We met because we worked in the same company, both in communication/television. A few years later, we fell in love and then had 2 adorable little girls."

The marriage proposal
"We were leaving in holidays for Mauritius, Damien surprised me with an upgrade to business class (I absolutely did not expect it!) and on the plane, after dinner and before watching a movie, he took out a small box, and when I opened it, I discovered a ring!!! It was truly magnificent: a black diamond <3.
I cried, cried, cried, cried. I really didn't expect it. And we still had 6 days of vacation ahead of us, in the sun, without children.

Wedding in Sicily
"We have chosen Sicily because we had spent a vacation there in 2018 and we had really liked this land. So we said to ourselves that it would have been the perfect place to get married!
We searched on the internet and that's how we found Amandine d'Amande&Co wedding planner, who offered us the Baglio Oneto Resort Marsala. We wanted a place with a sea view, a swimming pool, where all our guests could stay on site. We fell in love with the inner courtyard of the Baglio Oneto and the swimming pool. This is exactly where we held the dinner and the aperitif respectively.

Wedding planning
"We called on Amandine fromAmande&Co wedding planner for the organization of our wedding, she took care of everything:
- the administrative procedures for getting married in Sicily,
- service provider proposals (venues, musicians, florists, etc.),
- negotiation with service providers.
We also did a 2-day scouting trip in April 2019 to visit the different locations pre-selected by Amandine and define the final little details.

Wedding decoration
"We wanted a bohemian, simple, plant-based wedding whose main color would have been white and some shades. With Guests 40 maximum.
For the flowers we favored pampas grass and olive branches, a typically Italian decoration that we love very much. I also had a crown of white flowers, very discreet. Amandine took care of all the decoration both of the courtyard of the Municipality of Marsala and of the Baglio Oneto with the lights and the table very elegant in its simplicity.
We offered small vials of local olive oil to the guests.

"Without a doubt having made the choice ofinvite our guests to Baglio Oneto : we were all there together the day before, the big day and the day after. We felt like we were with family in this hotel, we had a really fantastic time there, both relaxing by the pool and of course the moments related to the wedding itself. We have wonderful memories of it, both as children and adults.
