With a furious desire to reinvent themselves, the team of Nas&Co's Events offers us a picture with flamboyant colors. A powerful bohemian setting that wonderfully celebrates gentleness and strength.
With images of Sebastien Bourdet, the team shares with us the details of this inspiration…
How did the initiative for this wedding editorial come about?
"Our brides were saying "bohemian table", "bohemian dress", "bohemian flower bouquets" and we were saying "more", "more" and "more". So, one day, Karol looked at me and said "what if we revisited the bohemian theme but this time, we put the manly side forward?" That was all we needed to start dreaming of a bohemian, stylish, captivating and confident groom.
Our minds and hearts were carried away by the creation of a modern-day dandy dressed in beautiful materials, a touch mysterious but above all in love!”
The idea for the shooting was then found: Dandy and his Dandinette.

We then contacted a florist we love working with, Virginie, also known as "Les Jolies Feuilles". She suggested an idea that she had wanted to try for a long time: a monochrome decoration! Our three brains got going and complemented each other well to imagine a floral decoration on a monochrome of burgundy, a powerful color, perfect for our theme. We even pushed the idea to the accessories of our dandinette (we did not forget our bohemian bride!!). Free, a bit rebellious, independent and who does not like to do like the others, our dandinette is spoiled by Virginie. The latter created XXL accessories for her! Shall we talk about this flower crown?

The place of the editorial
“For the location, we wanted to do it “locally” by staying in the vicinity of Fontainebleau. We grew up in this imperial city and we are very attached to it. It seemed important to us to show it in a different light. And yes, the beautiful countryside of Seine-et-Marne is not always synonymous with rustic. On the contrary, you can find beautiful nuggets there. This is exactly what happened one winter evening when Karol and I went for a drink in a recently opened bar in the city center. With its offbeat paintings, its duck blue walls and its industrial-effect leather seats, this place had everything to please and inspire us. Which goes to show that we should always look around us because there are hidden treasures everywhere. Let's dare to unearth them to create a wedding that suits us and that will echo our origins, our history and our tastes.
The asset of this place? Its bar function which allowed us to set up our "Whisky Bar" with this delicious woody smell. It was sublimated by Caroline from Vaisselle d'Augustine. She had brought an old red metal piece of furniture, vintage carafes and pretty cigar boxes! Her bargain hunter's eye and her decorating talents were invaluable in staging what we had imagined.

The organization
“On D-Day, we had to roll up our sleeves to create the world of our dandy and his little dandy.
We were lucky to be well surrounded for this day with partners we trust and with whom we have something in common: this grain of madness! What we liked about this project was the exchange of ideas from each person because each time the result is crazy! Of course, we had given them the guidelines and our desires beforehand but once on site, we gave them carte blanche to expose all their ideas without restraint. Unity is strength as they say! For your wedding, do as we do and let your heart speak to select service providers with whom you will have a good feeling and who share your values and your desires (even the craziest ones). »

The decoration
"The decoration of the place was perfect for our theme: the paintings of men with animal heads highlighted the offbeat side of our couple, the duck blue wall went very well with the monochrome burgundy and the camel leather benches gave this touch of virility. We just had to add a few bohemian elements to bring a touch of softness: a pretty wicker bench, vintage books and bohemian rugs.
Our main challenge? Creating the wedding table with the elements already on site: a table too small, another too low, another too round, a stool too high… it was not easy but obviously since we had a resourceful team, we came up with something great! In this way, our decor benefited from the authenticity of natural materials: the leather of the bench and the wrought iron of the industrial stools. We added softness with the linen tablecloth and the velvet napkins. A lovely cocoon for our couple in love!
